The point is those that put the blame for a team game on one player, when the failures are glaring and obvious, we have every right to question why they are placing the blame of a TEAM on one player.

The point of this post was exactly what their posts are, instead of being critical of one player and blaming him for the win, the op praised said player. Quit trying to feel offended just because some are tired of hearing the constant incorrect chatter that the qb has been the problem the whole season.

Only on VolNation can you find people that agree but they are still arguing. roflmao Some of you guys could find something bad about winning the lottery. There are 2 games left. KC is gone after that. He didn't win the starting job....period. End of the KC issue. JG is Pruitt's guy and he is the coach. JG has done something right or Pruitt would be switching the QB's out like he has the O Line. Is JG perfect? No, not by a long shot. But, he is a baller and a team leader if you listen to his teammates. Without a doubt if I have to get in a street fight I want him on my side. He is tough as nails and won't quit until it is over!

Not only should he have a series or more at Charlotte but he should have had playing time in the 2nd half at S. Carolina. If he had put together some drives like he did at Alabama we may be 6-4 instead of 5-5. I will continue to express my opinion.

Who's living through Tennessee football? Is that an attempt to demean me personally as a lower caste citizen compared to another simply because I watch, root and enjoy my States team? I would suggest that any of us who post to message boards like this aren't any different. Much like Colt, sports makes us all equal, whether there snobbish among us wish to accept it or not. You are all here doing the same thing, brothers (and sisters) in arms. So let's not segregate ourselves here in this between the haves/have-nots, life/lifeless, even the intelligent/not so much. Let us all not dissuade another person or opinion, only his/her assumption of facts. Discuss opinions and share them, perhaps some will change when given new light, or perspective. JG has arrived as a QB much better than he was when the season started. He is the starter and were seeing now why he won the job. Glad we have Chryst he is a competent QB that gives us a lot of insurance in case of injury or if JG has to go out of the game for any reason. You always want two guys that can play at a high level and we have them.

That line of thinking is faulty and silly. No disrespect to you. Football is a team sport that doesnt put enough emphasis on 1 player to warrant said player shouldering wins or losses. Its not basketball. QB play depends on many factors. OL play, WRs, TEs the OC. When the offense is on the field there are 10 other guys on the field besides the QB. If they dont do their jobs correctly then things go majorly wrong.

Couldn't the "underthrows" be intentional, with the idea being that our tall, athletic receivers are more likely than the DB to win a jump ball? That seems to me to be the case, as quite often the receivers appear to be looking for the ball, not just racing down the field and having to stop and reverse course to make the catch. This is most of the time, I mean. Certain JG isn't perfect and hasn't thrown every pass perfectly. He clearly made a couple of inadvised throws into coverage yesterday, and yes should have probably been intercepted on those throws. Still, his QB rating is quite good, particularly considering he has little time to get rid of the ball.

I trust the coaches who see these guys in practice every day to evaluate who should be playing QB and when. I would like to see KC play more, but not at the expense of wins.

I am not seeing this in 'black and white' , rather in gray tones. Did JG have a great game today ? Heck yes . Does he have a lot to work on ? Without a doubt . Namely accuracy , pre-snap read, and releasing the ball on time ( which is also a symptom of a pre-snap read ) Did the team as a whole play better ? yes Better first and second down production by the running game = better JG. Could KC be the better QB . From his past performance , he appears to be more polished and possibly more ready . Does this mean that JG can't improve and be that guy ? Not at all.

The OP needs to see the world in more than 2 dimensions.

OR you are not a coach and need to sit back and watch. You are a fan, you dont get a say in who is better and who plays what, your opinion is based in no kind of facts, just your feeling that he may be better by your limited sample of viewing. Just stop it, Al Bundy, no body cares what you were able to do in high school, stop trying to act like you know more than the coaches, who have put out a product that has been widely praised by all of those in the know.

Thank you, sir, for serving all of us in the CORPS...

My nephew is a marine....I went to his graduation at Parris Island. He did his tour in Afghanistan.
It was extremely humbling to walk those grounds....

A simple thanks will never be enough...but THANK YOU!
