Both. This is silliness plain and simple. He was just using them as props in his game of political theatre. All of the costs for their deployment should have been paid out of Republican campaign funds.

We've seen the results of globalism with a loss of jobs and security and horrible trade deals. People like evil and gator have no problems see us turn into a 3rd world country.

Have you or anyone in your immediate family ever served? I'm just curious how familiar you are with the sacrifices our military men and women have to make, not to mention the sacrifices their families have to make?

You'd rather they insult us behind our back? The world only respects us when they need us to solve their problems, yet they rarely come running to help us with our problems. Any other time we are just "dirty, unenlightened Americans".

I agree with most of this weezer. The world gets pissed when they can’t tell us what to do or with our money or resources.

But if we ever faced a serious physical threat or if Canada, UK, Australia, Japan, France and probably now Germany everybody would quickly come together.

I absolutely have zero problem telling UK, France, and Canada to pound sand and mind their own damn business. But if they faced a sovereign threat from an external force and our leaders shunned them I’d be genuinely pissed at our leadership.

Macron is correct. The idealogical reasonS for WWI and II were nationalism, That is literally why the Western democratic order pledged never return to those beliefs again.

Wrong ... the ideology was Germany’s Lust for power and greed . You can try to say it’s nationalism if you want but it boils down to a country’s power grab .
