Hurts or Bryant?

Bryant is better, but neither are coming to Tennessee. Better hope Bryant doesn’t go to UF

A few rumbles that Hurts may end up at Tn. My question is, would you rather go after Bryant like a few other SEC schools? MSU, ARK, AU, or FL look to be the destination of Bryant. Would you rather TN get in the Bryant sweepstakes or go in for Hurts?
Where are these rumblings you speak of?

I finally put him on ignore. He asked me a million questions after he falsely told everyone I was some dead explayer, I answered every one of them honestly, no reason to lie about it as I have no alternative motives, and then suddenly he, same as you, start poking fun at it. Doesn't bother me a bit, helps guys like you and him though that like to make fun of people I guess. You 2 should go into politics as you seem to not have anything good to say to anyone.
I said something good to some dude three days ago. Didn’t do anything for me. How long do you have to gofer at a scouting service before they give you an “Expert” badge?

He can play immediately, little smurf can’t have a say in where he goes. He is free to go to the college of his choice. Apart from Tn, I’d watch schools in Tx. Be funny if he ended up at LSU, Saban hates running QBs.

So he hasn't played in over 4 games or is he going as a Grad transfer.

I just don’t understand why we don’t RPO more with OUR dual threat QB. It would keep the defense honest, help get him more confidence as the game goes on, and it’s much easier to slide down or even take a hit as a runner vs standing vertical in the pocket.

Some seem to get RPO mixed up with read option. RPO as run by the Chiefs and Eagles and now the Bears isn’t about the QUARTERBACK running. It’s giving it to the running back OR pulling it back for a pass.

Hurts should have transferred before the season started. The writing has been on the wall since January that he's not gonna be their QB anymore

That he willingly and seemingly happily allowed a season of eligibility to be gobbled up in an unnecessary role of handing off in garbage time, leads me to believe he sticks with Bama and backs up Tua again while letting Saban’s teachers work with him in learning another position...Ohio State Braxton Milleresque.

He played in his fifth game a few games back. His third year of eligibility is gone. He has an unused redshirt year but he’s in line to graduate in December I believe. He could grad transfer and redshirt at his next stop...or play. I think he stays.

I have to admit, I literally laughed so hard I almost cried. Thats some funny stuff right there man

Reflects big for you. When we can laugh at ourselves, the rest of the world becomes less of a joke. 👍🏻

I'm not sure Hurts is very productive behind our OL. Bryant may be a bit better but I don't think either will come.

He may, but had he left campus after 4 games, he doesn’t graduate. He could have technically left the team yet stayed till December. If he waits till December, he gets a degree, can transfer then get his Masters at his new location instead of trying to finish up a Bachelors instead.

He politicks Saban to play him in four or less games and he’s able to redshirt and have TWO seasons of eligibility AND grad transfer. If the masters is his major aim (no fault with that) then why leave Bama?

We don't have a dual threat QB, that was a bunch of bull to help his recruiting. Fact is, he has never been a runner

Bryant. Hurts is a good running, but can't throw. Bryant is a little better passer, but still not great...

HE thinks he’s NFL caliber. I agree with the premise he could possibly make the league at a different position but do you think he could have the same success as Terrelle Pryor? It can happen, odds aren’t greatly in his favor IMHO. I think Saban doesn’t care if he is there next year he just knows he doesn’t have a qualified backup after Hurts on this team. Could be that he just wants to play, some do, especially if they think they won’t make the NFL.

For the thousandth time that is not how recruiting works. JG and his family had no influence in where he was ranked or what position he was classified as.

He was a good prospect. That is why he had his ranking.

Does he have the potential to be cut by the Jets a few games into the season? Absolutely! When he’s played, it hasn’t been necessary and only served to burn a year of eligibility...that’s why I think he stays. I don’t agree with you that HE thinks he’s a NFL level QB...else he would’ve transferred this year masters be damned! He could serve in the same role next season and allow the two prospects to redshirt.

He has -99 yards on 103 attempts for his career. You do understand that duel means two? as in two threats?

Honestly, I'd be happy if JG was a mono-threat QB.

Saban isn’t going to let Hurts go to an SEC school.

grad transfer can go anywhere... can't be stopped

I think Hurts is more likely to stay where he is than leave. He likes getting those rings..

Not sure Pruitt wants to give up an initial count spot to a graduate this go around. Gave up 3 spots on 2018 class. Getting very little return on them

No....you’re completely wrong. You have ZERO knowledge of what DUAL and DUEL means.

DUAL—-adjective: consisting of two parts, elements, or aspects.
DUEL—-noun: a contest with deadly weapons arranged between two people in order to settle a point of honor.

Next....how many of those NEGATIVE 99 yards are simply from sacks or him being chased from every angle once the ball is snapped?
