one won the game and the other went scoreless the entire 2nd half, yet u scream good game?
bwaahaahhahahaahahaaaa
Why does this site merge threads? It causes good conversations to get lost and muddied up IMO.
No biggie. Just curious.
hey sherlock.....wanna tell me how many other teams are COMPETING with the teams that produced those scores?
then you'd have to show how silly you sound.....and if just anybody could just blitz and he get blasted like u wish claiming to be a fan.....why do we not only have 3 wins, but a win over a top25 team? oops!
If JG were in the game for those specific plays then there's a damn good chance he does what KC did on those plays.I am not being a smart a$$ when I ask, you still think jg is the better qb based on what? What has jg done against good teams that says he’s the better qb. Better teams meaning: wv, uf, and bama. KC came in against Florida and bama and led the team to touchdowns when jg couldn’t.
The mental gymnastics here must have been exhausting.Cryst didn’t play aginst the stoked first D. Like JG did. We are fortunate to have KC on our team. He is not clearly better than JG, I see them as equal. And if they are equal play JG for the future. However if JG has a bad day or gets beat up KC will do just fine.
KC deserves some playing time. He is getting it done.
This, I doubt. I have not seem him make those plays all year.
Since you asked and referred to me as the good mister Holmes I did some research...you may not want to read it though...
WVU's highest margin of victory over a P5 team-UT
UF's largest margin of victory over a P5 team - CSU with UT a very close second...cant win em all though. CSU lost by 28 and UT 26
UGA's largest margin of victory over a P5 team- Vandy but again UT is in the hunt for the biggest margin with another narrow miss. Vandy lost by 28 and UT by 26
Bama etc..-Ole Miss is the grand champ here but guess who is 2nd again..see a trend?
We have NOT been competitive unless by that you are using CSU and Vandy as your measuring sticks.
Last thing..I have no idea what you mean by wish someone get blasted or me claiming to be a fan.
I wish no Ill on any kid that plays whether he plays for the Big Orange or an opponent.
And if by a "fan" you mean a blind follower then no I dont claim to be a fan. If you mean someone who passionately follows the Vols and gets excited when they play well and upset when they don't then yea I am a fan.
But I'm a fan of the program and never the coach. Not when it was Johnny or any since.
Take care little guy.
I would say it would tke a full week to recover from those gymnastics

Just to clarify, our losses are to the #1, #7, #9, #13 (current rankings) teams in the country. They weren't all back to back and we had success in between them. Hard to say our measuring stick is CSU and Vandy when they haven't played that guantlet outside of Vandy playing 2 of those teams out of the 4 we have played.
And pointing that out doesn't make me or anyone a "blind follower"
Surprised at what I'm seeing in this thread and just happened to see your post. You're wrong. Chryst has made some great throws, but JG has too. To say you haven't seen from JG what you've seen from Chryst makes me wonder how closely you're watching games.
JG is more talented and brings more confidence to our offense. JG is a baller and is our starting QB for a reason.

Someone (maybe you not sure and not going back to look) claimed we were competing. If getting your beaten by your opponents by a higher margin than any Power 5 team they've played other than CSU and Vandy is competing, then my ass is a typewriter. Unless those two programs are your yardstick.
If, however, your claim that playing tough competition week in week out is detrimental, then shouldn't SEC teams be getting their butts kicked during bowl season? Assuming of course that the SEC is the best conference.
We are not competing with any team of note outside of Auburn. Hopefully the next few games will change that and we will not just compete but win a couple of them. Because losing sucks even if you are "competing".

I couldn’t have said it any better than this and to be honest, it wouldn’t bother me at all if he wasn’t the guy. I just hope that whoever starts Saturday balls out and we win by 30 points. I also hope that if the starting qb isn’t getting it done cjp won’t wait until It’s too late in the game to go with a qb that willI also agree with you that JG is the QB for a reason, and it doesn't bother me in the slightest that he's the guy. But, I don't know the reasons, and they may not necessarily be that he is the best QB at understanding and executing all aspects of the offense.

There’s not much separation. KC can read the defense better while JG can throw the deep ball better.
I think that if Chryst and JG both had eligibility for another 2.5 seasons Chryst would be getting the starts. But because JG has all of the eligibility for 2019 and 2020 he’s the guy we’re going with.
They want to build on this season, but that may come at the cost of a W or two because JG can’t read a defense right now.
