What is a ā€œgame score?ā€

It's a statistic on each team's ESPN FPI page after the games are played. I'm not sure how it's calculated but every FBS team gets one after every game going back to 2006 or so.

For perspective, Bama got a 99/100 for the SECCG vs UF in 2009, while UNLV got a 0/100 for losing to Howard last year.

Haha. We encounter rattlers quite often while hiking or golfing. No problem-o, it's life in the Southwest.

Crawling into a low mine entrance on your stomach while a huge rattler is guarding it? OK, I wimped out. :)

When has 10-2 ever been considered a down year for Georgia? They go to a NC game for the first time in 30 years and suddenly 10-2 is a down year for them? 10-2 is a good year for Georgia no matter what you or their fans think. Your UGA crush is embarrassing.

Every year that Richt did it.

Over the next 7 or 8 years, I think everyone will by then view 10-2 as a down year for them.

This looks like it might be the Tonopah-Belmont mine, north of I-10 & west of Phoenix. (Abandoned gold, silver, copper, lead mine.) Man is lucky he survived a fall down a 100 foot shaft, but was smart in letting someone know when & where he was going.

The wife and I explore many of these old mines in AZ & NM every winter, but while I will enter old mine adits (horizontal shafts), I will never go down into these vertical shafts! We have also encountered large diamondback rattlers and javalinas in these mines (no thanks!).
hah... javalinas...

A short story if you will indulge me...every Friday I try to do a long run(for me.) Last Friday I was running a 5k and I was feeling really good. I thought to myself "if I take a longer route and push myself the Vols will beat Auburn tomorrow." so I did and would up running about 2 miles further than I planned and we all know what happened the next day. Well today I was going to run a 5 mile route but right before I began I decided to take this trail off the main road that has monster hills that I have attempted before but always had to stop and walk part of. I thought "if I can do this route today without stopping Tennessee can give Alabama a game." so I set off and sure enough I was able to do it without stopping and wound up running even further than I planned again. So it may be an omen, it may not, it may be biocentrism, but hey at least we got this going for us...which is nice.

Interesting that you posted this. My longest run is 9 miles, and I think I have now done it twice. But I know for sure I did it the day after our big comeback win at USCe in 2014. I kept thinking to myself- ā€œI can keep running after the Vols’ effort last night.ā€

Well, I’m breaking my own rule and taking the Sunday morning message during football season. Topic is on intercessory prayer. Not sure if i’ll Be able to see any of the game before heading out... not sure I want the distraction or if maybe it would at least be settled in my mind if the score is out of hand before going.

Ugh... and this is why I normally don’t do this. I could probably use some intercessory prayer
We need all the good will we can get bro...do God's work and we'll handle the bidness of living and dieing on game day breaks.
