Will have nothing to do with the outcome of tomorrow's gameA short story if you will indulge me...every Friday I try to do a long run(for me.) Last Friday I was running a 5k and I was feeling really good. I thought to myself "if I take a longer route and push myself the Vols will beat Auburn tomorrow." so I did and would up running about 2 miles further than I planned and we all know what happened the next day. Well today I was going to run a 5 mile route but right before I began I decided to take this trail off the main road that has monster hills that I have attempted before but always had to stop and walk part of. I thought "if I can do this route today without stopping Tennessee can give Alabama a game." so I set off and sure enough I was able to do it without stopping and wound up running even further than I planned again. So it may be an omen, it may not, it may be biocentrism, but hey at least we got this going for us...which is nice.

I agree that they're definitely not as good as they were last year, but I don't think their program is on the decline at all. They're recruiting on Alabama levels. I think they'll go 10-2 this year. Which is just a down year by their standards.Technically he's right so far. First loss this year was last weekend.
Last year, they didn't lose their first game until Nov.
They don't look as good as last year. Lost a lot of good, experienced players.
Hope you finished off with a Homestyle. Post run nutrition is key.A short story if you will indulge me...every Friday I try to do a long run(for me.) @Catbone moves to the edge of his seat...UGA on a decline?
Interesting stat:
The Vols got a game score of 92/100 on ESPN's FPI for the Auburn game.
Since 2007, that's tied with the 2013 South Carolina game and second only to the 2016 Virginia Tech game (94/100), which I think is probably a little inflated due to all of the ridiculous VT turnovers.
Other notable game scores are 2008 Wyoming (a whopping 4 out of 100), 2007 UGA (a 94/100), and 2006 Cal (95/100).
