appyvol's recipe for success tomorrow.
Continue to stay hot & aggressive in the kicking game: Cimaglia has been lights out. Doyle has been a solid so far. We have to manufacture possessions and keep the ball out of their hands. Maybe third time is the charm on one of these surprise onsides kicks.
Vols by 20.A short story if you will indulge me...every Friday I try to do a long run(for me.) Last Friday I was running a 5k and I was feeling really good. I thought to myself "if I take a longer route and push myself the Vols will beat Auburn tomorrow." so I did and would up running about 2 miles further than I planned and we all know what happened the next day. Well today I was going to run a 5 mile route but right before I began I decided to take this trail off the main road that has monster hills that I have attempted before but always had to stop and walk part of. I thought "if I can do this route today without stopping Tennessee can give Alabama a game." so I set off and sure enough I was able to do it without stopping and wound up running even further than I planned again. So it may be an omen, it may not, it may be biocentrism, but hey at least we got this going for us...which is nice.

A parent of an Auburn player told you things that happened when Butch was here? Please, please, if there is any way possible, let us pull off a massive upset tomorrow, and not let Butch enjoy the satisfaction of enjoying a win against us in Neyland! We met the parent of a player at the Auburn game, and it floored me to hear just a few of the things that happened when Butch was here. Made me realize quickly why our players were in the state they were last year and the beginning of this year. Pruitt will get us there.
Yes, O Brilliant One, I read much considering I am a librarian. I also am good at reading between the lines as I spent years grading 4th and 5th grade papers. Please forgive me for reading your implication as "parent of an Auburn player at the Auburn game" instead of "parent of a Tennessee player" and causing you undue stress and mental anguish by asking for clarification.Umm, read much? Read the original post again.

UGA isn't on the declineCall me crazy but if this team continues to progress the way they have thus far they should be able to compete for the east as early as next season. Our offense is literally going to return everyone, if we close strong on the recruiting front we will definitely have a top 20 recruit at one of the tackle spots next year maybe at both spots and I would expect a defense in the 2nd year of Pruitt's system to run like a well oiled machine.
All of this with Georgia being on the decline (yes I believe this and will elaborate if needed), Mizzou loses Lock, UK loses Snell but that defense should still be pretty good, SCAR is still going to be stagnant and Vandy is going to be Vandy. Florida will be the biggest threat and I believe we should have the experience in the system and horses to run well with them next season.
It's not too improbable that we have a legitimate chance at taking the East next season.
