I've always been pro-JG. Thought his GT sideline demeanor was waaay overblown, as was his penchant for hanging onto the ball too long.

That said, someone here, maybe Hank, said he doesn't go through any reads. That became pretty obvious to me in the Auburn game.

I think a lot of it was that he didn't have time to go through reads, but still, even slinging it out to the RB's in the flat, his eyes were LOCKED. ON. to his target.

He's still our undisputed starter, but he's gonna have to improve on that as our OL starts to give him more time.

I would agree, he doesnt go through his progressions, but that has a lot to do with the O-line not really giving the time to do that.
He needs to improve quite a bit, but there's not a QB with his arm talent on our roster besides Shrout.

Would be a HUGE upset, just not the biggest in CFB history.
I don't think I said it would be the biggest. If I remember correctly I said "one of the biggest in CFB history"

I believe that this Bama team is one of the best, if not the best top to bottom teams ever put on the field, therefore beating them with a bad-mediocre team would have to be among the greatest IMO.

And if you want to believe that if those stats had been turned around (Henry and Yeldon, 36 carries; Simms, 23 throws), wouldn't have changed the outcome...oh well, indeed.
Ohio State was the better team. I think that's the bottom line. Saban basically said as much afterwards.

OD is 1-6, their only win was vs top 15 team where they were like 30 point underdogs. They’ve only been in the FBS for 5 seasons and just restarted their program 10 years ago. That’s a bigger upset
May not see eye to eye on the other...totally agree on this.
