I'm not basing that on spread..I'm saying this Bama team is one of the best ever and we suck badly. It would be one of the biggest ever, and I don't give a spit what the spread is...

Who really thinks we have any chance at all of even keeping this game relatively close?
You said the same thing last week

what you got against Iowa? you get a bad batch of corn flakes once or something? lol.

Just know there are a bunch of creamed corn fed idiots there who sit their fat asses down all day and comment on political facebook posts. The decline of western civilization.

Literally nobody outside of you will call it one of the biggest ever lol

You get paid a lot and don’t get much rope for this kind of gig. Former Cowboys Aikman and Romo knocking it out of the park immediately didn’t make it easier...expectations wise. He seems to be following the Emmitt Smith model.

I guess I watch alot of Monday night games with the volume low as I am going to bed. But, I haven't thought he's been that bad. Always room to grow, but I think his football knowledge is clear.

Ehh. +28.5 wouldn’t even put it in the top 15 upsets of the last 20 years. Not even sure it would be top 20. I’ll have to look

I found a list where the 10th biggest point spread in the last 25 years was +33. So, it would maybe make the top 20. Probably not the "biggest upset." But the dominance of this Bama team would make it a massive upset. When you get to upsets at greater than +20, they are all big.

Oh agree. It’ll be massive, biggest in UT history and could potentially change the outcome of CFB this year. But if we beat them we’re likely finishing 9-3 and in the top 15. I seriously doubt anyone (outside of maybe a dozen ppl) will consider this one of the biggest in CFB history

It wouldn't be the biggest upset ever, but if we beat that Bama team, I'd say Pruitt will be considered an incredible hire at a bargain price.

I'd like to see the Ole Miss 2015 gameplan vs Bama. Let JG air it out. Basically do the same thing we did last week vs Auburn, especially if we're looking at 3rd and long. Chances are we aren't gonna drive down the field too many times anyway. Worst case scenario is we throw an incompletion and punt or JG throws a nice arm punt.

We probably won't win but the goal for this game should be to continue to build confidence in the players. Playing scared or conservative isn't the way to go. Coaches need to show the players, especially on offense, that they trust them, because they'll need that level of trust once we get into the four winnable SEC games after Bama.

you mean the one that called for 5 turnovers to your zero, and a deflected TD pass off a guy's helmet to win the game? lol.

everything that could go wrong for Bama went wrong, and they still had a better than average chance at winning until that weird defelection play for a TD.....

it takes acts of God to beat those guys. that game against Ole Miss, the Johnny football game, the kick six against Auburn, Cam's 24 point comeback....i mean beating those guys in the regular season..........the starts have to align or the moon has to be in the right orbit or something.......

Lol, didn't say we were gonna win it. But you gotta be aggressive to have a chance. Plus, it will be good to keep up the aggressive mindset heading into the back end of the schedule.

Just got offered two tickets to the game. I’m torn. Of course my 5 year old in his innocence will want to go thinking the Vols should win every game they play. Go and enjoy being there with him vs exposing him to the potential whipping. Thoughts?

Vols haven't scored more than 20 points against the Tide since putting up 51 in a 5OT thrilling win in 2003 (and have only scored more than 14 points twice in the Saban era).

Everyone thinks of the Pick six as one of the great Auburn moments in 2013, but there was this too-- Fulmer wasn't the only one playing with that shadow man.

We need to come out of the Bama game healthy for this 4 game stretch. Don't think we have the depth for guys to be out against S.Caroina, Missouri, Kentucky.
agreed. would love to think we had a shot at winning. we don't. so the only goal i have is to make it out healthy for november.
