And honestly, I thought that blown opportunity would lead to our loss.
100% agree. I was a little negative Nancy in the game thread about it. Thought we were going to have to take advantage of every opportunity to have a shot at winning.

I think it's a good sign that we didn't play perfectly and still managed to win relatively convincingly. Room for growth but clear signs of improvement.

Am I crazy but when the clock was at 57 seconds, didn’t the ref say reset to 1:02 and the clock actually got reset to 1:12 and no one noticed?

Or did I miss hear?
That is exactly what happened! That was when Bituli was ejected for targeting. The ref said to reset the game clock to 1:03, and it was reset to 1:12. Worst officiating I’ve seen in the last few mins of a game that should have been a foregone conclusion. It was blatant they were trying to give Auburn every chance possible to win. Unfortunately, the officiating will be worse this Saturday.

The fulmer tweet in the locker room leading the we don’t give a damn about Alabama song has been deleted..

I’m guessing Pruitt didn’t want to poke the bear and told DWA to take it down
Dang guess thatsone few pagrs back that wont pull up..wish u coulda seen that

He never had possession. The ball changed position in his hands at least twice. It deserved to be reviewed at the very least.
If that would have been TN with the catch they'd have had the FBI analyze the video from every camera angle and a couple of views from orbiting satellites.

He came back right after he said 1:03 and said 1:12.. I definitely heard it but the clock should have been running on 2 plays that home cooking stopped.
On the TD pass at the end I didn't even notice yesterday but I watched the replay today and he did NOT have control. Maybe he was being cute w the ball but he never controlled it..

Man, this is a perfect example of where we as fans sometimes need to back the F off of these players... ME ESPECIALLY... We have no idea about most of these kid's backstories and backgrounds, yet we are ultra critical of them on the field. The fact that this kid is going to college and playing football at a D-1 University, starts, and makes an impact every game is remarkable. Humbling to hear this story. The work ethic passed onto Daniel from his parents is something unfortunately we are seeing less and less of these days. You are in a new country and find a job, are able to go to school, and support 6 family members... WOW.

Yep. Time for the young guys to step up and ball. Excited to see more of the DL.
Against Bama, I wouldn’t play anyone that is the slightest bit banged up.
And I would protect a lot of my starters too by not playing them once we get down by three touchdowns. Bama, with or without Tua, is not winnable. Our last five all are.

If I had my way I'd rest every starter. I know we're supposed to pretend that every game matters but this year there's absolutely zero chance against BAMA and no reason to risk the rest of the season by pretending that there is.
