Thanks to your fellow Dems that chose to try this in the court of public opinion, we have heard the evidence. It's Ford's claim and that's it. No physical evidence, inconsistencies in her statements, no corroborating witnesses, people she names deny it happened, no time or place, and she admits she was inebriated to the point she doesn't remember much. That's all from your/her side. No defaming from the Republicans. Take into account that your fearless leader, DiFi withheld the information weeks so it would maximize the impact whether it's true or not. Also, the hoops that Ford demanded the committee jump through makes her story highly suspect and leads me to believe it's a total fabrication.

Then your party doubles down just as the Ford hearings are to begin with even more outlandish and unsubstantiated claims that can't be supported by even the smallest tidbit of evidence. It certainly paints the picture of total and shameless smear campaign that quite frankly is pitiful.

I seriously doubt that law will be changed, regardless of Democrats using it as a "scare tactic" for midterms and Republicans using it to show their "morality",

You know what the biggest problem is going to be?

The next time a Judge gets nominated to a Federal position and allegations that are true of sexual assault are brought up. Republican, Democrat, regardless of political leanings, people are going to look at the immature tactics the Democrats have pulled here and be hesitant to believe a verified sexual assault victim.

But be proud, Democrats, be very proud. Your completely ****ing it up for years to come for real victims of sexual assault with your idiocy here.

I'll start believing the "morality" bs from Republicans when they decide to help impoverished kids AFTER they are born. Or when they decide to not punish DACA Dreamers. Or when they don't put kids in concentration camps. Or when they stop refusing political refugee kids because they are from scary places with brown people. Or when they stop trying to keep LGBTQ parents from adopting kids out of foster care.
Republicans can take their "morality" argument and STFU.
