Kavanaugh Confirmation

Of course the locker room BS talk happened, but who in their right mind would admit to knowledge of such actual events, presently?

Yet, we have one that has conveniently admitted to them at an opportune time for the left......huuuuuuuum.

No, but do you really think these ideas just came out of nowhere? I'd dare say there would be some reference material.
As I just posted about a few moments ago... "Hells Angels" the book that put Hunter Thompson on his way, gives an account of such a thing... but not amongst the high school set.

If he's lying about minor stuff (like his drinking habits in HS and College), why should we trust him to be a honest and ethical judge in the most significant cases affecting the United States?

Bump........any proof of ANY lies as a judge?

Honestly, did anyone here even ever hear of regular "trains" happening at high school parties? I was in high school 78-81 and never heard about stuff like this. People spiking the punch? Yes. People getting really drunk? Yes. People having sex? Yes but not with great frequency. Trains being run? Never in high school. People being known organizers of said trains? Can't even fathom that.

Nope, heck getting a bj was a huuuuuuuuuuuge deal.

I wasn't there, so I couldn't say. But nobody who supposedly participated in the alleged assault is going to admit it.

And, this is where you are dead wrong. The guys would have "talked" about it. I mean, she said they were "common" in their circles. That means people knew it.......RIGHT???

Why even question his HS and college drinking habits?

But no participant would admit it, presently. Back then, more plausible that it would be discussed.

Seriously, I'm not saying it did or didn't happen. But to say the accusation isn't credible is a matter of opinion. Feel free to dismiss it, but I'm not.

Hand jobs back then were rare.

Wasn't quite as rare when I went to high school. There were some pretty raunchy events at some parties.

None of the participants in one such event that comes to mind will ever be, nor do they deserve to be, on the SCOTUS. They should have drawn jail time, but the girl didn't report it, nor did any of the witnesses. I am guessing it never happened by virtue of what I learned in this forum.

While the first two accusations are at least plausible, the Swetnick accusation simply isn't. To find it even remotely credible requires a significant leap of faith.

If thats the criteria then shut the whole thing down.
