The article mentioned several credible threats against both Kavanaugh and Ford. Crap like this political theater tends to bring the radical loons out of hiding.

Honestly, did anyone here even ever hear of regular "trains" happening at high school parties? I was in high school 78-81 and never heard about stuff like this. People spiking the punch? Yes. People getting really drunk? Yes. People having sex? Yes but not with great frequency. Trains being run? Never in high school. People being known organizers of said trains? Can't even fathom that.

IF it is a made-up story, then that makes sense. If you recount all of these vivid details, people are going to want to try to corroborate it, and a huge part of doing that is determining when it occurred. If, if you are making them up and don't want to get exposed, that's where you say "well I don't remember exactly when they occurred." It isn't likely to be corroborated at that point, but you'll still have people who believe you.

The declaration of these accusations themselves is the shadiest thing about it though. Even if they are 100% true, it is clear they have been weaponized and "saved" to be used for a political purpose.

I heard of such things going on.. I couldn't tell you a single name supposedly involved, much less if it was consensual or if drugs were involved. If I had ever been present, I'd damn sure remember it, though.
