Tickets have just gotten to the point where hey are ridiculous. Why would i pay 500+$ for a pair of tickets when i could get some friends over it and watch it on my brand new TV, watch other games etc.

This whole ticket bubble needs to pop sometime. Games should be at most 100$ per ticket.

Tickets for next weeks game at Georgia are even more expensive than this week's UT-UF game. There's a chance I can get a free ticket on the 50 yard line about 10 rows up. Middle of the Georgia section of course, and if I can score that ticket I might have to invest in the Bruce Pearl orange blazer. In the much more likely scenario that I'll be paying my own ticket, I'll probably be paying around 200 dollars or so. I'm a glutton for punishment.

No doubt.

I can either spend $300 on two lower level tickets, another $40 to park, another $30ish to eat or I can stay at home, buy $50 worth of stuff to grill and drink and have the comfort of my own couch. Easy decision for me.

It doesn't mean it will happen but if we can't beat Florida we are going to need some major jump to beat the next 4. Then Mizzu, Vandy and Ky are no slouches. We should beat Vandy and Ky still but Mizzu could test our young secondary similar to west va

Like I said, I'm pretty pessimistic overall, but I'm still digging for those nuggets of hope like most any beaten-down, loyal sports fan.

This is is the only game I can go to because of work so I went all in.

You only get so many chances to experience the beauty of Neyland when it’s rocking against Florida.

I spent way too much for my tickets but I get to spend some time with my son. Hopefully a memory that he will have forever.

I do both. Sitting on the couch is relaxing, but nothing beats a full day of tailgating, hanging with friends, and then going to church.

Try taking a family of 4! We had over $1500 into our Charlotte trip. A weekend in Neyland usually costs us more than that bc we always stay close to the stadium to the tune of $300+ a night.
My couch, back patio, and grill is just as good experience for me anymore!

Agree. With that said, I'll be in Neyland.

Let me go!

Enjoy it!

I think I’d be more inclined to spend the money if we were a good team and I were absolutely confident in a win. The Neyland experience is great 99% of the time, but I just can’t talk myself into this one because I don’t want to spend $500 just to walk out disappointed at 11 PM.

Neyland can look full even when it's not. The seats are so narrow that people spread out and you can't even tell some seats are vacant. The only time it really shows is when big sections are empty-- like last Saturday. Even with more than 1000 free tickets given to evacuees, attendance was down. I think it'll be a good crowd tomorrow night-- probably the best all year.

Baker has “it.” He has that winning mentality and killer instinct that Jordan had and Lebron is missing

Ohhhh Noooo you don't mister!!!!

I will be present as well!!

Overall, I'm pretty pessimistic this year, but I don't buy the notion that if Tennessee loses tomorrow it means they automatically do no better than 5-7.

New coaching staffs often mean rough starts, but it can also mean pretty dramatic improvement over the course of the year.
I’m torn on this. The potential for steady improvement is there in a lot of places on our team, but I’m not sure how we see some of our veterans react to the if we lose to UF, UGA, Auburn, and Bama all in a row over the course of 6 weeks. Our schedule is just really unforgiving for us in year one of a rebuild.

Would they be able to stay focused despite the frustration/disappointment of a 2-5 start?

Would any seniors or juniors start looking forward towards their next personal/professional steps in life moreso than finishing strong as a team and getting to a bowl game?

Would we see a movement towards younger guys? How would the older players react to that? How many, if any,1st year guys would hit a wall as the mental physical rigors of SEC play catch up with them?

IMO, those will be some of the biggest questions about this team if we don’t win tomorrow. I’m hoping we WTFA and don’t have to spend the next few weeks waiting to the answers to those questions.

I’ve got to work this Saturday night. It will be the first Florida game in neyland that I’ve missed in the last 8 years... kinda sucks. Tried to get some people to cover but alas couldn’t find anyone

You don’t sound like you feel okay. There are a lot of 24-36 hour viruses going around right now. It could easily prevent you from working Saturday.

Interesting factoid about these viruses: They can be totally eradicated through total immersion in a TENNESSEE Volunteer game day experience. Key point, Neyland exposure works faster than any away game...

Tickets gifted. Otherwise I wouldn't go. I enjoy the home experience.

FTR, I'm undefeated in Neyland. You're welcome.
