Pruitt told every reporter who ran an inside story on them this summer that they are going to "Die on that Hill" against UF. Stephen Godrey confirmed this during an episode of "Podcast Ain't Played Nobody" in July. Tennessee is going to pull out all the stops. We better come in ready.

The crowd will be big and loud. I believe the Vols hate us more than any other team

It's an important game for both teams. We can ill afford another SEC loss after Kentucky.

Hate to say it, but I don't think UF wins this one. I really hope I'm wrong, but I just haven't seen it yet.

When was the last time we were 0-2 in the SEC. This damn better be our "Die on that Hill" game as well.

I tend to agree. If we lose this one, we could realistically end up at 1-7 or 0-8 in the SEC.

This game is huge for us. If we don't win I do not see how we get to 7 wins on the season.

We need this one to get to 6 or 7

A bare knuckled fist fight at the edge of a cliff. One team is going down hard.

We are going to have some major doubts about ... so much ... if we lose this one.

Going into hostile territory I have to ask....who is the leader of this team? Offensively? Defensively? I think this is where I lose confidence in a game like this. Other than the hail Mary pass to beat Tennessee last year in an otherwise horrid game what from Franks in particular has inspired us to believe we will go on the road and gut out a win?

True, but Mullen didn't recruit him to sit on the bench for 4 years. Neither Dak or Fitzgerald were considered good passers coming out of HS. These are the types of QBs the QB whisperer loves to develop, so would not surprise me to see him go with Jones if he goes with a new QB.

At his HEALTHIEST, Hall wasn’t always dominant at RT. Take 3 season off and plant him on the blind side? New VN sudden expertism has beaten the marrow out of the dead horse of Trey NEEDING to be an OG. Having a brutal interior presence is cool and all but having a virtual turnstile at LT negates all those points. Anybody familiar with Dallas Cowboys history knows you don’t have to have your best lineman play LT, but if the guy stationed there can’t handle the job it wrecks your offense. Trey’s the only player that’s shown he can handle it. It is what it is.

One of my big concerns about the UF game had been the loss of John Kelly, because he had basically been our offense in the 2017 game. But I am feeling a lot more optimistic about our running game right now, We have some horses, and Chandler is a serious breakaway threat.

So a lot of y'all know my situation and what's been going on. Just want to update y'all where it stands. On Thursday I filed a petition to move back to Tennessee. If granted I would be moving back in the summer. We had mediation on Friday and didnt come to a conclusion and its supposed to be continued. But I still have the kids

Quick update on my 75 year old Grandfather. Tumor is too big and deep for biopsy. Seems to be getting more dizzy/unstable by the day now. I think he is going to get some sort of spinal tap thing and that may show if it's cancer. Previously had lymphoma about 5 years ago and had successful chemo. I'm getting pretty worried at this point... Not sure what there is to do treatment-wise yet. Thanks for the prayers again guys.

Prayers continue. I hate that your family is having to go through this.

Today at practice for a team I coach, the team had Rocky Top blasting; over and over. The bluegrass version. They know every word of the whole song. (Mind you, this is in South Carolina and I don't think they have a clue about the connection with the Vols, or at least they don't care about it.) I asked them why Rocky Top and a couple of them said, "because it's Rocky Top". Good enough for me. It's a sign. GBO.
