Amateur Hour Continues

Yep, I can't wait to see what future generations think of the pussy hat wearing Never-Trump movement.

"Did they really object to getting their taxes lowered? How ****ing stupid were they?"

They way things are going they'll probably look at them as brave revolutionaries.

Our "law and order" president is directing evangelicals to violate the law. Sure does seem to have a selective notion of what it means to believe in "law and order."

Lol. Yeah. Church pulpits are one of the last bastions of apolitical platforms in the country.

Last time I was in southern church I couldn’t hear the sermon for all of the politics being preached on.

You guys will literally screech about anything. 😂😂😂

One thing to acknowledge the reality; quite another to actively encourage law breaking, especially given his law and order pretensions.

In the real world? No not really. And the law breaking you’re referring to in this case takes a few connect the dots to reach that premise too.

Omfg!!

“I just ask you to go out and make sure all of your people vote,” Mr. Trump told the group of about 100 evangelical ministers. “Because if they don’t — it’s Nov. 6 — if they don’t vote we’re going to have a miserable two years and we’re going to have, frankly, a very hard period of time because then it just gets to be one election — you’re one election away from losing everything you’ve got.”

Yes imploring evangelicals to do their civic duty and have their voices heard at the ballot box is an absolute travesty!

Didn’t’t read the article did ya? Just went off that dumbasses headline.

They will end everything immediately,” he said, apparently referring to Democrats. He added, again without being clear whom he was talking about: “They will overturn everything that we’ve done and they’ll do it quickly and violently. And violently. There’s violence. When you look at Antifa, and you look at some of these groups, these are violent people.”

Nowhere in the article doe it even claim that Trump told them to encourage their congregations to vote for republicans. hell, they have the audio why not post a link to it if it was egregious?

Geezus hog.

Even irrational people can read between trumps lines, no need to be coy around here - we all know what he's saying.

Every Democrat candidate is hosted on Sunday morning in predominant POC churches.

Worry about the plank in the Democrats' eyes before you worry about the splinter in Repub's eyes.

I hope they do just as he asks, not that I need another reason to believe the evangelical right hasn't already sold the **** out.

I'll just enjoy reminding them how hollow their righteous bloviating really is.

Not all evangelicals are bad... but those who support trump conveniently turn their backs on the Ten Commandments and essentially all Jesus stood for. Shameful hypocracy.

I don’t think they need a push from Trump

Thanks for making my point. He's playing to his base, some of the boys 'round here are suggesting he's just randomly encouraging civic duties in places that 'just happen' to be reliable supporters for the party he's migrated to. Just dumb luck he stumbled into these places, could have just as easily been a mosque or temple.

Black churches do it with impunity, and the IRS always looks the other way. White churches, though, are prosecuted.

He is encouraging civic duties. To a base that already leans right.

Have you ever heard of Pastor Manning?
