It's going to be a battle getting to a bowl game. I expect wins against ETSU, UTEP, Charlotte, Kentucky, Vanderbilt, and one more somehere. We really need to beat WVU or UF. If we win one of those I think we're golden. Given all the variables in year one of a new regime, it's unrealistic to think this football team is winning anymore than 7 this year, and I think 7 is a stretch.

lol. we were having that discussion last night at my parents' house. we're all basically rooting for him, and then someone said, how can you like him? and me and my brother were like "oh, we don't like him, he's still an a hole, for sure".....but both wanted to see if he could pull out a W.

I like it when he's playing well so I can root against him.

Glad to see AJ get his shot at the NFL. Even better that he got to pick the best shot for him to make a team out of 11 suitors. Hope he stayed ready for this day.

A win against UF or WVU should be pretty easy to do. We can surprise WV and we really aren’t much different than UF plus it’s in Neyland

Why are we even thinking and talking about ANYTHING from the last 10 yrs, like how we played against Vandy and LSU last year? I'll admit, I'm as guilty of it as anyone; just the other day, I was debating Dooley or Butch, which was the worst.
We have to, in the words of Don Draper, move forward. We do an injustice to Jeremy Pruitt whenever we look back, and let it slip into our minds the thought, 'the way they've been, is the way they're going to be', if that makes any sense. I understand why we do it, for most of us, it's our nature. In reality, Derek Dooley and Butch Jones shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence, paragraph, story as Jeremy Pruitt; the moment he was hired, all thoughts of the last decade should have evaporated...however, and again, I understand, they didn't for a lot of us.
What is happening now on Rocky Top is so beyond the realm of what we witnessed with Dooley and Butch; the installation of being a champion, of taking it to the highest level every single day, from the QB to the secretaries in the football office.
Oh deer lord..keep up..that was a post in response to a personal dig at me at the end of a two day old argument about how crappy I think the offense is going to be without really good QB play..

I wouldn't go so far as to say it'll be pretty easy to beat one of the two. I'll be surprised if both games aren't highly competitive though. I'll take a split.

Since none of you losers would help a man out, I looked myself. It appears that MNF starts next Monday. I'm anxious to see how our own Jason Witten does as I'd forgotten that he's part of the new broadcasting team.
Thought you were babbling to yourself...again.
