Amateur Hour Continues

I could be wrong but are you suggesting that the link provides a refutation to the idiocy of the tweet?

What am I missing?

Our thought bubble, via Axios science editor Andrew Freedman: President Trump appears to be referring to endangered species protections, which mandate availability of water for some species. However, firefighters haven’t complained about lack of water for firefighting, but rather, the extreme nature of these fires.

  • The factors contributing to these fires include decades of national forest mismanagement and climate change, which is making summers hotter and drier than they otherwise would be.
  • The Trump administration is working on broad changes to the Endangered Species Act — as well as opening federal forests to logging, oil and gas drilling. This tweet appears to tie the fires to both policy goals — without any evidence that they are key factors in the state’s devastating fire season.

Nope, but it does give more info on reasons as to why the fires are as bad as they are. For the record I'd like for him to put down the twitter for awhile, maybe for good. Although the tweet did push me to try and figure out wtf he was talking about.
Still didn't find the exact thing about the water though.

Because a grown up, especially and man shouldn't need to communicate that much.

I believe that twitter is for talking, not listening. While it connects us to so many people it also can disconnect us from the people who's opinion should matter the most. Maybe I'm an old guy at 41 but that is just how feel about it.
It's a social media platform like any other. I'm curious how you think it's any different than being on here.

My account was set up by my teens 5 years ago. I have never once logged in since initial set up. I would bet a good percentage of the "users" over the age of 50 are the same way.

I believe that social media is a bad thing. I pretty sure I am allowed to have that opinion.

I'm not the dolt who is trying to claim all 95 million 18-29 year olds are 18 years old. Jesus Christ, dude. Your argument is so f'g dumb.

Ok sweetie, is this better?
