Mass shooting of the week, high school in parkland, FL.

I think there is no way in he!! that they do not respond aggressively to any reported threat; real or perceived....because, how do you know?

By doing a little investigative work before calling him in perhaps?

You're talking to an old cop here...

Have you heard anyone on here argue the cops weren't completely justified in taking that turd's weapons up to or even more than a year prior to the incident?

Furthermore, do you really support such idiotic knee jerk reactions in the aftermath?

What did this kid do wrong? What illegal act did he commit? Do you support the school questioning him without having his parents present?

Do you condone a student making a political statement about the 2A? You do this time right? Besides the cops were completely justified in following up on an issue that was seen as threatening by other students. Determining if it was or wasn't is their job.

Not that you would know anything about it.

The schools don't patrol social media, they hear about it from other students and parents. Schools get multiple calls a day from parents and students about things posted on social media.

and apparently the cops didn't go to the source media before talking to the kid to see if there was an issue. they immediately pull him and treat him in an unfriendly manner. again 3 to 1 is too much. I find their actions much more threatening than any post on a media site.

if it was 1 guy, this is a non issue in my book. if the parents were there, non issue. if it was just a check in instead of an interrogation, non issue. the adults screwed the pooch on this.

As I said earlier, they may have over reacted. They may need to be dealt with. We do not have the whole story. It boils down to the kids past.

Had they treated the kid who shot up the school this way a few months ago, we'd all be thrilled.

I said they may have over reacted. We do not know the kid's past.

You’re full of it. If there was anything in this kids past you guys would have completed the character assassination by now just like you did the Haab kid.

Oh, I know far more about it than you would believe.

But no, I don't condone students for making statements about the 2A pro or con. I do ask, just like I do everyone on here, to become educated in the matter before spouting off.

And if you really want to go with this "determining a threat" deal, that's a path you really need to be careful of traveling.

You guys condone plenty of kids making political statements against 2a. And extending your screwed up logic the BCSO was on stage with them doubling down on that stupidity. But here BCSO is “answering a credible threat?”

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!😂😂😂😂😂

Got to love technology and capitalism. I have no problem with this whatsoever. Seems like an unnecessary expenditure. Parent and student phone calls are free, and I'm sure these schools are still getting the phone calls.

Blah, blah...so you were wrong that "The schools don't patrol social media".

So now you're doubling down on being wrong by making an assertion of knowing how common something is that you didn't know was happening at all?

And his other big play is also called out on that post too. His populist agenda where he implies he’s speaking for the masses thus his stance is just and right.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!
