Jordan had something that no other player I’ve ever seen play had, Kobe was a close 2nd. He was not only better than everyone he was mentally tougher and his desire to win was off the charts.

At no fault of lebron he doesn’t have the killer instinct those guys had. From a talent standpoint LeBron May have more talent but he’s missing something those guys had. Which puts him slightly below them in my opinion.

I know I’m the world of social media we see more of this today than we did back in Jordan’s day but players today are buddies and to me it makes them look weak. Jordan and Kobe would have killed there opponents and Gus today wanna be friends

I wonder what some of these guys can learn by knowing the defensive/offensive opposite of them. Can Emerson be a better DL if he had a few pratices learning how an OL plays. Can Taylor play both ways or be an injury option at CB? Like Pruitt said, this is the time to do things like these. Many won’t stick.

Yep. No frills. I enjoy his press conferences. He has a good sense of humor. I’m glad he started talking about individual players today. Good to hear he thinks Taylor is having a nice spring and that he thinks Chance Hall will be back and can help the team. Guess he needed to see the scrimmage before he wanted to address specific players. Hope he does more going forward.

I think the first couple weeks he was pretty tough on the guys and probably pretty tough on them after watching the film. Hes probably "loving on them " little bit.

If that's what you really meant with that post, I apologize. I misinterpreted an ambiguous post. I wasn't, as you accused, trying to be "sneaky" or knowingly mislead others about a post you made.

Yeah, but with his frame I'm not sure how much bigger he can get without sacrificing some athleticism. He's definitely gotten bigger, but next to Bituli he doesn't look that big really.

That doesn't mean he can't be a good LB, of course. But he's never going to be a big thumper at LB.

I don't think butch has destroyed his career. He's still got plenty of time to improve. It is up to him though and hopefully he'll realize that and take advantage. Didn't work at db after 9 practices but he's got the rest of spring and summer at wr to try to show he deserves to play. Work ethic can be learned and developed.

He doesn’t have to be a thumper in this defense either.

Everyone always assumes you need all big LBs in the 3-4 but some of Pruitt’s best ILB at Bama we’re 230ish and could fly around the field. Sapp fits that mold perfectly. He could be a problem for opposing defenses the next couple years with his athleticism.
