Probably just browse the recruit threads. We don't have a list by city, but the state is listed in each thread title.

Thanks i didnt see anyone, the only recruits half decent right now are committed to miami and virigina and they middle 3 stars. Maybe some teams will play in here i can watch.

Hey, are there any kids in Jacksonville we are going after? Its kind of a down year in this area but would like to scout it out if i could.

I didn't see any offers for 2019 for Jacksonville hometown kids in the rivals recruit database but these are the 2019 florida kids with an offer from us.

We’re trying to get the best 22 on the field.

I have zero problem with that IF and it's a big IF it isn't a detriment to the future.

I want 10 win seasons and no matter who plays CB or Ol this year we aren't doing that. With that said I do think Emerson and Taylor can huge factors at WR and on the DL in a few years on a team that has a chance to play in Atlanta in December.

Bottom line is Emerson and Taylor need to be looked at as the future instead of being used to fill a gap at a position they aren't best suited for imo

Don't think I disagree here. Obviously he wants to win every game, but I'm starting to wonder if Pruitt knows he needs to win 7 or 8 this first year to be able to really get these top tier recruits.

Panic move today and hoping some of these changes are very short.

I don't care if Emerson and Taylor can help us this season on the other side of the ball when a few years down the road they can be All SEC type players at their best positions.

Can't stunt development to put lipstick on a pig.

Taylor can be a stud at CB imo. Daniel Jeremiah said earlier this year if kids were smarter they would move from WR to CB. He can find WR tape all day but searching like crazy to find good DB tape. Pruitt wanted Taylor as a CB at Bama in recruiting.

Emerson thing was odd but DL can be some of your best OL as Fulmer showed plenty of times

I think Taylor is a star at WR.
If he is struggling at WR I would understand but all reports have been he is doing well.

Same with Emerson

This is a Beta Take. It’s spring football. This is the perfect time to experiment with moving players

I think Crosby could be a day 1 starter at G. He's got the body type and definitely the strength. Like I said earlier, he was the only one able to go for to toe with Tuttle and that's probably what pushed the change for him

Taylor imo is a star no matter where you put him. I wouldn't mind him being a starting CB with an adore Jackson type package. Helton should be plenty familiar with how to do that. Pretty deep at wR. I'd prefer Taylor be on field instead of waiting his turn at WR if that's the case. Not hard to transition to WR. If Taylor is what pruiit thinks he can be then why watch Osborne and others get peanuts ate over them all day

Imo moving players around with experience is fine. It's the perfect time. However doing it with true freshmen hurts them if they end up staying at their original position. Lost developmental time

I’m fine with blaming Butch, blame him all you want. but I had a feeling he had a reason for having Byrd at WR. Also think there’s a reason Evan Berry was never a WR. Maybe they just weren’t good enough. You can lead the horse to the water but...

Sorry, Byrd was placed on offense right after he arrived on campus. He had no meaningful time on D when he reported. Azzani, Butch's pet coach, wanted him and won out over the D because they were short on depth at receiver.

There are plenty of articles out there from a couple years ago to diffuse the narrative. Butch was not right. He helped ruin Byrd's best opportunity to play at a high level. In HS he was recruited by nearly all schools to be a d-back, including UT. Which is why he played the position in the Army all star game.

I would rather have a star CB over a star WR 10/10 times if i could pick. Hopefully one way or the other we get a really good player at whatever position he sticks at.

Saw this coming with Byrd.

It's a week bro calm down. He even said in presser they could move back next wk and he could move others to see what they can do

I think with those two it's more of we know what we have but let's see if they're better in a new position.

I admit I don't give much credibility to the practice reports but I did hear AP say that Taylor was doing very well but needed the reps at WR because he was raw in many areas and hadn't played the position much before

🙄. So glad Fulmer hit that panic button a few times and turned de Witten to a TE and Rb Moore and westmoreland into all SEC lb. Ridiculous comment. We’re trying to get the best 22 on the field.

Pruitt doesn’t exactly strike me as the type to panic, especially during spring practice
