I didn't see any offers for 2019 for Jacksonville hometown kids in the rivals recruit database but these are the 2019 florida kids with an offer from us.

I have zero problem with that IF and it's a big IF it isn't a detriment to the future.
I want 10 win seasons and no matter who plays CB or Ol this year we aren't doing that. With that said I do think Emerson and Taylor can huge factors at WR and on the DL in a few years on a team that has a chance to play in Atlanta in December.
Bottom line is Emerson and Taylor need to be looked at as the future instead of being used to fill a gap at a position they aren't best suited for imo
Panic move today and hoping some of these changes are very short.
I don't care if Emerson and Taylor can help us this season on the other side of the ball when a few years down the road they can be All SEC type players at their best positions.
Can't stunt development to put lipstick on a pig.
Taylor can be a stud at CB imo. Daniel Jeremiah said earlier this year if kids were smarter they would move from WR to CB. He can find WR tape all day but searching like crazy to find good DB tape. Pruitt wanted Taylor as a CB at Bama in recruiting.
Emerson thing was odd but DL can be some of your best OL as Fulmer showed plenty of times
This is a Beta Take. Its spring football. This is the perfect time to experiment with moving playersPanic move today and hoping some of these changes are very short.

I think Taylor is a star at WR.
If he is struggling at WR I would understand but all reports have been he is doing well.
Same with Emerson
Im fine with blaming Butch, blame him all you want. but I had a feeling he had a reason for having Byrd at WR. Also think theres a reason Evan Berry was never a WR. Maybe they just werent good enough. You can lead the horse to the water but...

Imo moving players around with experience is fine. It's the perfect time. However doing it with true freshmen hurts them if they end up staying at their original position. Lost developmental time
Taylor imo is a star no matter where you put him. I wouldn't mind him being a starting CB with an adore Jackson type package. Helton should be plenty familiar with how to do that. Pretty deep at wR. I'd prefer Taylor be on field instead of waiting his turn at WR if that's the case. Not hard to transition to WR. If Taylor is what pruiit thinks he can be then why watch Osborne and others get peanuts ate over them all day
