Really glad I didn't have to talk myself into Chad Morris. Glad Phil interviewed and passed on him.

Well, we play him next year. Gotta win that game. I hate Arkansas, and you’d think if we want to get the best from Memphis for recruiting, it’d be beneficial to mop the floor with them.

Tennessee's gonna pound that Arkansas rear end next year. I think we'll have a pretty solid squad in 2019. Arkansas is a bottom tier SEC program.

It’s actually 2020, my bad. But if all goes according to plan, we’ll be competing for the East and Morris will be on the hot seat going into that game.

Miss State is 2019 and that should be our first SEC West win in who knows how long.

Got my first stickied thread today.

Not trying to let it go to my head or anything, but you all should also know I have many leather bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.

Still the worst display of sports knowledge in the history of VN saying Alexander wasn't a 5.

Pure comedy

The roster was as much a part of the discussion as coaching performance. Many were saying that the 2009 roster was better than the current one and using that as evidence that Kiffin and co. actually underperformed. I'm not necessarily disagreeing that he underperformed, especially in those games you mentioned. My point is that to be fair, that 2009 roster wasn't as great as a handful of stars make it appear to be.

Besides, you've got to consider roster when judging a coach's performance. Even Saban only managed 7 wins his 1st year at Bama, and that roster was probably better that '09 Vols.

I think you’re poor mouthing the roster to excuse coaching failure. Heard that theory about Butch in 2013. :)

Didn't have the best weather, field drains well. It was a positive to get outside. 110-120 snaps for the one's and two's.

One thing that jumps out to me is that we need to be a better tackling team and we need to finish better at the OL position.

Not alot of turnovers which is good for the offense. We need to be more opportunistic.

Running backs didn't go down with first contact is good for the offense and not good for the defense.

On tackling, the first thing is you have to understand how you attack the ball. How are you leveraging the ball. It's an awareness deal. If you are going to be a great tackling team you have to get your feet in position for contact.

Pruitt says he has to watch the tape to get a better feel for his quarterbacks play. One positive was they took care of the ball.

Way too many penalities on both side. Pre-snap is a lack of poise. Not many penalties at the beginning, but more at the end. shows where the mental toughness is with them.

When asked if any position group or player stood out to him, Pruitt simply responded no.
