No it isn't but the fact that you feel that way about thinking that pretty much sums up where we are today. You are not alone.I'll be honest - my first thought when I read that story wasn't "that is so sad." It was "what if the family had been politically involved on the other side of the aisle - this would be covered differently."
I think my thought is still correct, but the fact that it was my first thought isn't the best look.
So is there a clear, concise definition of what an assault weapon is yet?
I saw the video of the shooting, and wish that I hadn't.And just when you think spontaneous stupidity has reached it's nadir...
Man shot in head on Facebook Live as friends played with guns, cops say | Fox News
Fines and such. Im sure the criminals in the area will be sure to turn in their weapons.
Just wait for the snitch campaign to commence. People will be paid money to turn in their neighbors for owning scary assault weapons. This will only get worse.
This will eventually get to a federal court due to the snitches. I can't see a search warrant being valid off the word of a neighbor. And if the local cops just show up and ask to search I'd hope most people would give them a big FU.
Yeah, I can see the cops setting up surveillance off of a tip but but not a search warrant. Otherwise any angry neighbor can just use the cops to harass the guy next door.
