Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson are CLEARLY the 2 best QBs in the 2018 NFL Draft

That Clemson team Watson left won 12 games last year and were back in the playoffs. Let see how Louisville does without Lamar Jackson next season before acting like Watson's college career was more impressive.

We've already seen that Josh Dobbs was far more important to his college team than Deshaun Watson. Tennessee won 5 less games in 2017 without Josh Dobbs and also went from a school record in points scored to one of the worst offenses in program history. Compare that to Clemson that only won 2 less games in 2017 than they did in 2016 with Deshaun Watson. Their offense was also still explosive during ACC play.

Clemson was a great program that made Deshaun Watson look good. Josh Dobbs was an all-time great talent than made Butch Jones and Tennessee look good.

And got CLOBBERED. Because Bryant couldn’t even sniff Watson’s level as a sophisticated passer. Bama (barely) escapes Clemson, gets beat by a clutch drive and gets CREMATED! What was missing in the third example? Huh? It’s ok...we already know.

Dobbs is gonna have a monster season this year. This is how a great QB looks:

Well they only won 8 games so 6-7 ain’t that much of a drop-off. If their new QB isn’t as transparent as his predecessor, they could win 9-10. :)

Lol everybody in the world knows Deshaun Watson is/was/will be a **** ton better then Josh Dobbs

You’re delusions of what you think happens in the future have tainted reality for you

Watson was a all time great college QB on his way to a very good NFL career. Dobbs was just another average guy that started for a sec team and never won more then 8 regular season games or anything meaningful for that matter.

Anybody that says Jackson is run first hasn't evaluated him and is just stereotyping. He makes the second and third reads. His running yards were on designed plays.

Draft experts have already debunked that lazy, racist narrative.

And? Rookie year is just one season. Kurt Warner was also cut several times, forced to play in the Arena League, and bag groceries before he got his chance to start for the St. Louis Rams in 1999.

The NFL is a marathon not a sprint. Brad Kaaya is made of the right stuff. I'm still confident he will have a successful career as a good starting QB in the NFL.
Yea cuz getting released by 3 different teams as a rookie is no big deal not a bad sign at all

If you’re being this hard headed about Brad Kaaya it’s gonna take 5+ years before you admit you were wrong about Dobbs lol

I’ve never said he’s run first but he sure gets through those reads quick before he takes off. :gone:

Speaking of “lazy”, is it too difficult to have honest disagreement with other posters before jumping into the lavender scented arms of your first love...race baiting? :)

College and the NFL aren't the same thing. I never said Deshaun Watson wasn't a great college QB. Unlike you I realize football is a team game. And eventhough Watson wasn't as TALENTED as Josh Dobbs, he did accomplish more in college because of the coaches and players around him. Players and coaches that didn't miss a beat the year after he left as they ended up being the #1 seed heading into the College Football Playoffs. Tennessee on the other hand without Dobbs last season fell apart having its worst season in program history and being completely anemic offensively.

You put Josh Dobbs on Clemson and he wins a National Title as well. The difference between the two in terms of college success was circumstance not talent. Just wait and see how their NFL careers turn out. That will be the ultimate arbiter. Just as the NFL has exposed the fact Alvin Kamara is a far better RB than Christian McCaffrey (a guy who had much more statistical success in college).

Absolutely correct. Lamar Jackson actually has great pocket presence. He keeps his eyes downfield even in the face of the rush. And he's always trying to throw the ball when he makes a guy miss in the pocket rather than just taking off.

He's the best QB in this class IMO when it comes to keep his eyes downfield in the face of pressure.

I'm sorry little delicate folks like yourself hate to confront the truth.

Not the only one that has called people about this when it comes to Jackson.

He makes reads and ran a pro style system with Petrino. Just google it. :good!:

I didn’t agree with Polian’s assessment of him fwiw. But looking at his whole career, no one without an agenda would go that direction

Don’t need to google highlight clips...I watched him play. Never said he didn’t make reads but taking off on runs were a big part of his makeup.

He don’t take Clemson to the next level like Watson did

What happened to Clemson and Tennessee last year when Dobbs and Watson left school?

Josh Dobbs left Tennessee and they win 5 less games. Deshaun Watson left Clemson and they win 2 less games.

Dobbs was a bigger difference-maker for the Vols than Watson was for Clemson. The win/loss record after they left bears it out.

Here we go with transitive property analysis to compare players on different teams with coaches on completely different trajectories with different year over year rosters. You certainly expected a post-Dobbs national championship, so it's hard to make this leap with you.

But, playing your game, I guess since Tee was two games better and able to win a national championship, unlike Peyton, it must mean Tee was the better quarterback?

Congratulations, this may be your dumbest argument yet. The bar is pretty high fwiw

Watson beats Bama...Dobbs loses to Vandy (TWICE in his career). Yeah...I see it. :)

Back to the “two less” thing? Wouldn’t that be the PLAYOFF and NC wins? :hmm:

Well I guess Austin appleby is just as amazing as Dobbs then

Going by your logic UF was 5 games worse in 2017 without Appleby

You see how stupid this is right smh
