We have a 5 that is blocking shots as a rim protector at a very nice clip. On that puts him in the league leaders of rim protectors. He also shows good rebounding skills at times and scores enough to help. He's a solid role playing 5

In the day and age of the dribble drive you are dang right that a rim protector is extremely important especially considering we already have an imposing inside scorer in Grant Williams.


You see in this modern age of Basketball the opposing teams 5 is often times out of the zone thus the middle is wide open for the dribble drive. I wouldn't expect you to understand that since you think 5s are just post players

Lol. It's just sad how badly you are trying with lies. I never said it was the only skill needed. It's Alexander's best skill. It's one he is elite on. He is just ok at the others ones thus he's a freaking roll player that is valuable

I've asked you a dozen times what skill makes Kyle Alexander a good five and the only thing you've come up with is he blocks shots. He doesn't post up and score with his back to the basket, he doesn't dribble drive the ball and create his own shots which you and others claim is the new 5. You've admitted he's a role player but you continue to say we don't need a true 5. Man, your brain works weird.

Lol. I never said he was a "good" 5 but he is an important piece of the puzzle for us.

Because of how good grant Williams is we don't have the same kind of need for an interior scorer as many teams. Would I trade alexanders shot blocking skill for the ability to get a few more back to back baskets out of the 5? Hell no not as long as we have Grant Williams who is our 5 star type scorer.

Let me tell you there aren't very guys in the entire world that are 6-ft 10 or taller. Physical like you said last night. Can score and block shots. Good grief man. You are wanting a needle in a hay stack

I've challenged you several times to go find another 5 in the sec that weighs 220# . You should easily be able to prove me wrong. Go find me that needle.
