Day 1 - God created light and separated the light from the darkness, calling light "day" and darkness "night."sounds pretty big bangish too me. there was nothing and then there was a poof of "stuff" with some bright lights
Day 2 - God created an expanse to separate the waters and called it "sky." what waters? space water? anyway for there to be liquid water (or just about any liquid) there would have to be an atmosphere, or "sky"
Day 3 - God created the dry ground and gathered the waters, calling the dry ground "land," and the gathered waters "seas." On day three, God also created vegetation (plants and trees). makes sense that plants came after dry land and an atmosphere. plate tectonics definitely plays into the creating the seas thing as it would have been one big land blob with one ocean. and with all the lava and upheaval new land forming from seas is also scientifically reasonable and more than likely
Day 4 - God created the sun, moon, and the stars to give light to the earth and to govern and separate the day and the night. always found this weird as day one he had already created day and night These would also serve as signs to mark seasons, days, and years. in the early days of earth with still plenty of magma showing the glow during the day would have obscured the stars and possibly the moon, sun could have easily been hidden behind a haze of smog/ash/whatever. and for those on the plants first thing before the sun, life has found ways to live where it shouldn't so the sun not being there is not a big deal (to me). also relative to the rest of the universe our solar system is incredibly young. and to the earth being relatively formed before the sun its a matter of perspective, the sun took how long to "turn on"?
Day 5 - God created every living creature of the seas and every winged bird, blessing them to multiply and fill the waters and the sky with life.evolution pretty much seems to agree with this, life formed in the oceans first, then crawled out on to land, but there could have been a flyer before there was a walker (jumping fish of some such)
Day 6 - God created the animals to fill the earth.evolution says land came after water On day six, God also created man and woman (Adam and Eve)evolution also says we came last in his own image to commune with him. evolution agrees that we are the ultimate example of life on this planet (or dominate at least) so it definitely backs up us being special He blessed them and gave them every creature and the whole earth to rule over, care for, and cultivate.
what exactly is your issue with EVILution?
