There is no way that what he is doing will be bad for UT. He is working his butt off. If they win next week (which they probably will) it will pay dividends for Tennessee come February 7.

Don't attempt to reach the lost on this site. They don't understand how dividends read into the script. The lost expect 1/12 of the NC trophy. Don't mention the many good and unsigned recruits with UT offers who maybe watching how well coach Pruitt and coach Scherrer are both doing in the playoffs. These two coaches will prove to be the best UT recruiters in this class and yet somehow some on here see them as betrayers. I simply can't get into the way they think.

I'd dare say Pruitt put heavy emphasis on academics during this short time off and to use a lot of their free time catching up or getting ahead in their schoolwork. You may be using or referring to a different recruiting site than me,(24/7), where we dropped to about mid 50's and currently stand at 22nd. That's over 30 spots but " he should be in Knoxville," he's actually getting more exposure to recruits by being on the field with Bama than he would be in Knoxville. Hell, UT players aren't even on campus this time of year considering we aren't playing a ball game. This whole thread is a mute point,IMO.

All other P5 football programs are being managed right now. Ours is on idle. But go Bama, right?

Our program is not idle other than NCAA mandated idleness. Prioritization and delegation go hand in hand. In fact, proper use of delegation makes prioritization far simpler. In Pruitt's case he can delegate both to his staff and upwards to Fulmer. Vacations, illnesses, and other absences happen all the time; and organizations properly trained to delegate, continue on and handle missing people without a snag.
