Vol taunting by Georgia fans.

I've been on this earth for more than six decades, traveled extensively, born witness to Vols fans behavior throughout, and I haven't posted any ridicule of UGA or its fans to this thread.

If you have any character, you ought to be feeling a bit of an ass, but then, as you aver, not all Tennessee fans are admirable. Your example proves the exception. Your demeanor belies your bitter soul. Pitiable you are.

No, you resorting to name calling and baseless accusations show you’re a worthless pile of human being. Just an angry old man trying to assert yourself.

Keep driving those nails. Anyone reading my posts and yours will judge me differently than you do, and as for you, well... Tarred by your own brush, Bill.

Continue to try to bash my name with false accusations. You are your own “exception”

It's ironic that the worse football team we become the more loathsome the other teams in the conference are. We used to hate just Bama and Florida. Since we lost to all SEC teams we played last year we now hate everybody. We need to come up with a list of all the teams we hate so there is no confusion.

I hate them ALL! Always have...you got to get your hate in order of least to most. :)

Blue font kinda...

I've lived near atlanta most of my life unfortunately. I tend to just ignore them, but it's difficult when grown men are barking in your face. It's also hard to have an intelligent conversation about football with a uga fan... they tend to just revert back to caveman days and start barking again when you prove them wrong.

Muzzles, chains, chokers ... tranquilizer darts ... and dog obedience schools. And nothing like a good beating once the Dooley and Butch effects are flushed out of the system.

Oh my goodness. Georgia fans acting like fans of their program. The outrage. How dare they!

I see that your located in Johnson City. You've obviously never been surrounded by Georgia fans. I work in Dalton GA, and they are a very unique fan base. Similar to the OP Georgia fans have come to me just to rub something in. Like how good they are now, and how TN sucks donkey dick.

I live in Atlanta as well. My neighbor is a huge Dog fan. He looked me in the eye the other day and said it was going to be hell for Tech, Florida and UT based on Kirby’s record setting recruiting. Dude is seriously annoying. I congratulated him on picking up a nice class and then reminded him that the current team will be losing 31 seniors plus some juniors. He replied that it did not matter with the level of recruiting that Kirby is doing.
Typical response. And not just from him.

Funny how so many people never get the thing about going to the next level and the Peter Principle - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. But to automatically believe a kid who has never played a single down at the collegiate level but was ranked high up in the recruiting ratings as equal to veteran juniors and seniors is nuts - complete departure from reality.

Yes he did BUT he will soon flame out. His current roster is full of seniors Team will look differently next season. Also he is losing some of His staff.

Correct. I see them as a 9 - 3 team next year. Still probably enough to win the east though.

Taunting about the game of football? Childish, meaningless, nothing... :tease2:

What ever happened to, "stick and stones may break my bones, but words can NEVER hurt me"?

Our country is about to face some really serious stuff in 2018. Let's stay focused on what's most important. Best of luck to all.

Deja vu?

Let me clarify from my previous response to this exact same message. Johnson City is where my heart is. I’m not. I’ve spent years surrounded by dawg fans. I do not know why, but every unit I’ve served in is overran with UGA and tOSU fans. UGA fans are so awful, that yesterday one of them gave my buddy’s car a jump for me, while rocking my orange.

I repeatedly hear from UF, Bama, tOSU, Southern Cal, Michigan, Mich St, Penn St, Florida State, Miami, OU, Texas, aTm, LSUand even recently Miss St fans telling me about how Tennessee sucks.

You have a different thought process than I do. I have loathed UGA since about the beginning of time. Add in Bammer and UF, along with Notre Dame, and I am there. Of course, UK and Vandy deserve to be derided just because of who they are. Arky, Mizzou, and TAMU can take a flying leap along with SC. The Mississippi schools and LSU don't bother me as much, but it depends on who they are playing as to whether I will root for them. I like Aubie a little bit more at this time because I know one of their starters, but I really love them when they beat Bammer like they did this year. USC, UCLA, and Miami are way down on my list, too. Not a big fan of Texas either. Ohio State has always been low on my list but they've been moved down even further since Urban "I want to spend more time with my family" Meyer got there. Michigan, meh. Can't stand Penn State but even more so since James Franklin is there. I'm sure there are others I loathe and it has nothing to do with our decade of mediocrity.

With that kind of list you have to be one of the old guys like me. ND would still be the most disgusting team ever to walk the face of the earth if they hadn't spent so much time sucking lately and lost relevance - simply because so many people (especially sports writers and TV broadcasters) were convinced that football couldn't be spelled without ND.

I'll never understand "conference pride." Anytime a conference cohort wins, it only helps the conference cohort.

Not true. Every team gets a cut of the $$ after the Bowl Games. All this helps to build the best Conference in the country. SEC strong! But UT first in the heart that pumps orange :rock2:

I live in Chattanooga which is like the crossroads of the SEC. There are plenty of lifelong (not bandwagon) UGA, Bama and UT fans here. Then you have the bandwagon guys...those are the problem. I wear my orange proudly in some form everywhere I go. Be it a hat or full on gear. In fact I'm more likely to be suited up fully after a loss. Because they need to know we ain't going nowhere.

As far as rooting for other SEC teams. During bowl season or out of conference games yes I am an SEC fan. I want every SEC team to crush anyone not UT. Every game another SEC team wins makes us look better. Hearing a lot of you talking we should just join the MEAC and beat a bunch of scrubs all year. All you want is wins right? Last year's 0-8 UT team would have easily went 8-0 there. Would that make u happy? Beating up on a bunch of nobodies?

Great competitors don't want their rivals to lose to anyone but themselves. Playing the best is what leads to greatness.

I don’t think the money Tennessee gets for other teams winning compensates for the exposure, credibility and favor those winning teams get in the eyes of the general public, the media, and, most importantly, recruits.

Never said they were bad people. Just trying to state how most of them are over the top type of fans. More so than most fan bases.

If you root for Ga., part of you is a Ga. fan. And one small part spoils the whole irredeemably. Same for Bama, Fla., and all the rest. Only reason to root for an enemy is when they are playing a more immediate enemy and the result could help Tn in the standings. No other acceptable scenario.

I know I live in Atlanta and should expect this.
But, it’s at a new level now.
At a party last night with a lot of Dawgs.
Seems they are all the greatest and most superior fans now.
They expect to crush OU.
They are going on and on about their recruiting that will be number one every year under Kirby the magnificent.
One guy told me he thought it was “funny” that UT thinks they will get somebody as good as Smart from Alabama.
I just smiled while mentally hoping he would die in a fiery car crash.
Any Vol who roots for them tomorrow out of conference pride is crazy, I loathe Georgia. Boomer Sooner!
conference pride? About the only school in the conference that I will occasionally pull for in their bowl games is LSU. I hope Oklahoma lays half a hundred on Georgia and I hope that all of their obnoxiously ignorant fan base over paid for their game tickets, their airline tickets and their hotels.

I do not want them to lose, I want them crushed.

I do have a hatred for Notre Dame that supercedes any SEC foe. That's my only exception for never cheering for the SEC.
