I just don't understand how we keep coming back to Steele. Everyone is upgrading and we might actually hire the only coach that would cause us to regress.

Clemson coordinators are the hot thing this year. Jeff Scott is interviewing at South Alabama, Tony Elliott at UCF, Venables supposedly here and Arky, Morris the same.

Its so weird to hear so many names at play...is he talking to them and saying "yeah maybe...Ill call you back." Then talking to 3 or 4 more and saying the same thing? Interview, offer or move on. If I were one of these top 5 in the hunt and was getting strung along I would say screw it.

That may be one more reason we wind up with Steele.

I think Morris with Marion Hobby would be dynamite. Would be confident going forward that we can compete with UGA and UF.

This or Venables with one of the Clemson OCs is what I want to see at this point.

Tucker's resume blows Tee out of the water and I could see liking his NFL experience to match Venables. He has a lot of experience

much better than Steele. Kirby moved to linebackers coach from DB coach at Bama to make room for him.

My understanding is the Jags and Browns defenses were pretty good but the Bears defenses were a train wreck.

The NFL and college are so different I can't get caught up on NFL rankings. The fact he coached in the NFL as long as he did at his age says something. Saban thought enough of him to bring him back to Bama and Smart enough to make him his first DC.
