If we go from Mike Leach to Panic Attack Steele Fulmer's honeymoon is over and he needs to start clearing out his office. I'm going to be furious so I'll probably need to stay away from here in order to not get banned. See y'all in 3 years if it's Steele.

That’s actually a really logical theory. I kind of thought that might be what was happening last week when Currie had Leach but Bev wouldn’t allow it. Seemed like maybe they actually did have Brohm wrapped up and were waiting for the buyout to drop/get rid of Currie as well.

But like I said after the Schiano mess I’m never doubting Hubbs again. Unless he changes his tune today I’m 100% expecting Kevin Steele to be the new HC.

Pruitt seems like a lower tier Kiffin to me. No ties at all here- in fact has always hated Tennessee being a Bammer. He would just be using us as an opportunity and then bolt to his dream job. And would he bring Tee with him? I doubt it. So we would have a dang staff of other Bama and Georgia alums here as well.

IMO it's currently a two man race.

Venables and Pruitt.

Unless a surprise coach shows up I think our next HC will be Pruitt.

I would favor Venables over Pruit but in the end I think Venables will stay put.

The counterpoint to your theory would be they would have never publicly offered Doeren the job if this was the case.

I think BV is either Arkansas or staying put.
I’m thinking it’s between Morris or Pruitt.

Has Morris been eliminated? Rumors were he had a face to face with Fulmer. And if I'm not mistaken it was rumored that Phil made a couple of trips to Dallas. That being said would love to have Brohm or Morris.

From what I read this morning I think Arkansas will hire Morris shortly. He apparently knows the AD and the Texas ties are going to push him over the top.

I'm thinking we may be seeing a Morris head coach and Steele DC combo. At least I hope that's what we are gonna end up with. With a little raise Steele may leave the Plains to come home to the same position. Just hope against hope that he's not the next head man.

Yes. It is crazy sometimes how much focus we put on the head coach, when the biggest thing that has went wrong has been the lack of physical development. At some level, that is on the head coach, but we have to change the culture in the weight room first and foremost.

I love the sign that was at LSU, telling all pro scouts who refused to show up for workouts. It doesn't matter what formations we have or what play is called, if our guys are just not up to the task.

I'm not even excited about Steele as DC. Outside of this season he has been average at best.
