Arkansas hiring their AD helps their job but slows the process down a few days. Good for us IMO

Last I read Arky was looking at Morrison and Strong, Venables, but now that they other going with USF AD, Houston instead, anyone think that puts them in better position for Morris?

It sounds like Taggart is going to FSU. He cancelled recruiting visits he had scheduled with Oregon.

Being the betting man that I am though...I would say it is announced Wednesday, Thursday at the latest. I don't think Phil would mess with Peyton's day tomorrow. Unless they decide to go for the double whammy.

Phil did promise Alontae (we assume by Alontae's tweet) a head coach by the time he OV's this weekend though. I'm still going with Les/if not Tee..then some kick ass OC.....or three or four others.......or someone else...or steele.....or....Dooley returns...or we beg Curry to forgive us and come back.

Off topic, but my first grad student defended her thesis today.

Nerdy, but if feels pretty damned good to get someone through grad school quickly (and without student loans).

Guy from All Vols Call In Show just said


that he got a call from his "source" just 30 min ago that said "From Fulmer's mouth, it's now come down to 2 coaches and it could be announced as early as Tues eve and those 2 coaches are Les Miles and Chris Petersen." He also said that Petersen was interviewed today. Guy also started with saying Gruden has officially said No but was definitely interested until this past fiasco week.
DISCLAIMER: I am just bringing what this guy, I think his name is Kevin (always has a big chew in his mouth), just sasid on FB Live. I don't believe it and think his "source" is someone that is talking to John Brice. TIFWIW which ain't much.

Dan Brooks son is on staff with Morris. It was reported that Morris was interviewed by Currie because Fulmer pushed it.

2 key reasons I think Morris is ahead of Venables but The flip side is fulmer reportedly wants a defensive guy so maybe that trumps that
