Does this make sense to anybody?

Fulmer is getting information from Brooks about Venables as a coach. Brooks is going to recommend him.

That’s how I interpret this

Washington is a better program at the moment due to more recent success/stability, but we're in the middle of a recruiting hotbed. Tennessee is churning out talent and we're a 3 hour drive to Nashville and Atlanta and <4 hour drive to Charlotte and Cincinnati.

Only major cities near Seattle are Vancouver and Portland. No DTs there.

I think he's saying Venables should talk to Dan??? Or maybe Fulmer should talk to Dan about Venables?? IDK.

Sallee prob didnt watch 5 seconds of Washington football this yr.....They are good and yet nobody gives a damn still. Thats one reason. And they have been good like the last 2 years.

Local media leaks a big name that could be a candidate for the job

Tennessee fans read it. Some are skeptical some think it's exciting to think about. They talk about said candidate for awhile and debate the possibility.

Some national media catch wind of us talking amongst each other about said big name that was leaked to us and tweet about how dumb we are for ever bringing up that name.

Even though we didn't.

Rinse

Repeat

Good friend of Fulmers and part of the old band.

hillip Fulmer. He coached in 13 bowl games during those 15 years and was a part of eight teams that won at least 10 games. The Volunteers finished in the top 25 of the polls in 12 of those seasons.

• Tennessee was third in the nation in total defense, allowing just 263.5 yards per game, in 2008. The Volunteers were 10th in scoring defense and 12th in rushing defense.

• Coached first-round draft picks Shaun Ellis, Justin Harell and John Henderson. Henderson won the 2000 Outland Trophy.

• Served as Tennessee’s recruiting coordinator from 1999-02.

• Coached on the 1998 Tennessee staff that won the national title with a 13-0 record. That team had six wins over top-25 teams and gave up just five rushing touchdowns.

• Tennessee won back-to-back SEC titles in 1997 and 1998.

Yep. They were legitimately a 6-6 program until about two years ago. No major success since 2000.

I took this as Dan Brooks is our fallback option if Venables falls through, mainly because Dan is a good conversationalist.

Yeah, I think that is why CPF circled by to Morris as well. I think he has talked to Brooks and Brooks told him lots of good things about both Morris and Venables.
