Yes, it's time to rally their support to get behind Fulmer. Thinking a smear campaign on the part of Haslam is coming.

Haslam is not going down without a fight. What do you think of making the campaign one of just emails? I like the social media campaign, but what do you think about a more under the radar approach? My line of thought is that voltwitter is a powerful tool that should be used sparingly. Otherwise it just becomes noise.

If he can land Gruden he will have my support. My opinion of him isn’t changing for the better if he tries to hire Miles, Cut, or Steele.

After reading the Vampire story, which I believe most of it, I change my mind.

IF...there is any truth to Gruden, I mean any, they should take a camera crew with them and announce it the very second he finishes the N.

Yep. Anything to head off a Haslam sabotage of a Gruden hire.

The first thought that comes to mind, emails of support from the fan base to Bev, Pres, and Fulmer. Haslam should be loud and noisy and in the public eye as much as possible, including twitter.

I’m definitely down with all the happy support for Bev, Joe, and Phil, email or otherwise.

My concern is that #Haslamforjail will go largely unnoticed while the coaching search is just beginning to warm up. But, maybe it’s about keeping it in the back if everyone’s mind on social media.

I need more coffee, lol.

GRUDEN until it's not. But if does not come to pass, then and only then, do I think Miles is the best option, especially given the circumstances and developments this past week.

Think of it this way, we need a coach who has instant name recognition, knows what it takes to win championships, and has some sound fundamentals and understandings of football X's and O's. Who fits that bill...Gruden, and Miles!

In my opinion, either of those combined with AD Fulmer (who also fits that description), then either hire is instantaneously serving as a wake up notice that Tennessee is back and things "just got real" on Rocky Top!

At this point, I put my faith in Fulmer to make a great hire, at least from his perspective, regardless of who I think or prefer.

This reminds me of sitting in the stands of Neyland on that cold rainy night in 98. Down by 4, 3 minutes left, get the ball back and go four and out. It was over. Perfection was over. I looked to the sky with rain falling down and just simply said 'please?'. Then Stoerner was tripped and we fell on the ball. Hope was back. And Travis Henry crushed his way down the field and got us the win. Phil, you coached this game. Be our Travis Henry.

Let the fraud case against Haslam shake out. He’s doing a pretty good job of putting gas on his own fire. The university will not let his name stay on buildings if his image is tarnished.

Question: in your research on the Gruden MoU, what is the most plausible scenario? Think I remember you mentioned before, but I can't find it.

No research. I just know that Gruden believed himself to be under contract with the university due to having signed a contract with the university.

I will say this, everyone needs to get behind the President and Chancellor of this University. The Haslams are making a strong attempt to oust them, come January Bill will be out of office and off the BOT.
I don't have direct email addresses but can assure you Anderson and Thorton share the same feelings as we do. Charlie E. doesn't have as much of an interest in this thing as some are claiming but he is on the right side.
Tweet, write and email your legislation to stop the Haslams from interfering with UT any longer. Tell them you support Fulmer, Davenport and Dipetro to the fullest. Believe it or not Beverly was the hero this week and is on our side.

Haslam does not leave office until January 2019
