@BillHaslam here's the only way you get to jimmy.they all want that SENATE seat coming open and they have vastly underestimated the power of VN. I know a lot of votes Bill will not be getting. Make your voices heard where it will resonate. Does Bill wanna stay as head of BOT with his appointed cronies or the Senate with eyes on the WH?

Can someone with twitter put this on the Governor's feed?

One good sign is our recruits are already tweeting their approval. Taylor tweeted “Air-raid!”. Not much to go on, but a good start if in fact it is Leach.

Still faced with the problem we have less than two weeks until early signing day. That's not exactly a lot of time to get here, recruit a staff, establish contacts and go get the early signers.

Won't say it's impossible, but I doubt the first class would be that great.

He’s always played with 2-3 stars. Hell he made Tim Couch a #1 draft pick. You give him our players, look out.
Yeah I agree. If he can coach up 2 and 3* players you would think he could win with the class he could bring in at Tennessee.

And do you know how many of UT's opponents this year are in the top 10-12 in defense?

2, UGA and Bama, LSU comes in at 14

The rest of UT's opponents are not even in the top 30 of total defense

So again, where is the trouble?

Because we play UGA and Bama every year.

And because typically there are at least three to four every given year. Leach doesn't beat those teams.

This was an off year for the SEC thus all the head coaching openings. But UF, UGA, Bama and usually someone else on our schedule are capable of being in the top 12 defensively. Stop being so short sighted. One season does not make a trend.

Further this is about Haslam/Curry not about Leach. Since you seem to not be getting that.

Leach will put something on the field interesting to watch - not as good as we could have had but also much better than we could have had.

I agree. You think there’s any chance we can still get Austin Thomas to come in and guide the ship. (Ship, see what I did there)

Oh I get what it's about, but we literally were thisclose to having Dave Boring Doeren as head coach, the fact that we might be able to f$&k our way up to get a coach like Leach, we should be thrilled, but some aren't

I get the whole Gruden thing but I didn't see anyone answer my question from earlier

Say we get what we want, Currie fired, Haslam ousted, Blackburn hired

Blackburn offers Gruden and he says no, then what?

We lost. Again.

No if they do this and keep Currie, they will still lose money. And then everything rides on Leach and if that fails they are toast. They will either have to BEG for people go come back into the fold and give up the control or UT will forever be mired a loser. If the keep Currie and Haslam I am out until they are gone. I will watch from the recliner and not spend another cent. Haslam is using UT and people are sucking on it like crack.
