Behr, if anything Gruden has been screwed!

Yea, Im just searching for something I feel comfortable in believing and I'm trying my best to be logical.

I don't think Gruden is the bad guy here, but Ill listen to an argument.

Nope. But I'm always open for hiring for the right price.

Want to coach a slightly down football program that has tons of talent and a huge upside?*

*You will have to deal with an egotistical Oil and Convenience store Booster and an inept administration, but the pay will be good.

:)

And the drama continues!

Hold your fire, folks. It might not have required her signature to be enforceable.

If there was a spot for her signature, and it was never signed, it would be very good for UT.

But, if there wasn't, then you get into all kinds of arguments concerning Currie's authority, etc.

Tennessee doesn't need Haslam or his money or decision making. I would rather do without all of his CRAP than have him involved in anything UT at this point. And there are MANY that feel just like I do I promise you that. Keep him and Currie and UT will really hit bottom.

Its significant because she is letting him take the fall. She says she had no idea, Currie was acting rogue....which is enough for termination. I don’t buy it. She had to know. She has to go too.

It means she fears for her job, which is good.

Have I ever told anyone to believe beav? In fact, if you look at my post you will find he has made me nervous. As of today, I'm asking you to believe him and trust me to not mislead you. While I don't know that it will work out, we DO still have a shot at Gruden. It will not happen if Currie is still employeed as AD. Bottom line. Keep up the fight, we are all tired as hell. :)

Currie is a friggin joke who cares nothing about "The University of Tennessee" or its "Student Athletes"....especially the fans. He has nothing invested and his only concern is for his family's security and his own career. His ugly dweeblike face makes me sick..and his gawd awful cliches are nauseating. He's the type of guy who always had to run from other kids at school no doubt. How's Kansas State doing by the way? Pfft. What a joke this has become.

The most recent hires required 4 signatures per the Fox report

I don’t know but I know a lot of angry people with deep pockets want him out. The group I hangout with had a teleconference last night and all agreed we were ready to back out if GS was hired. We elected our highest ranking booster to contact the AD and tell them. All of us together is a very significant amount of money. I don’t know if we are going to pull that card again for Currie but I know we are going to talk again in the next couple of days. You have to be careful with the nuclear option. I know that several of us today have talked to reps of the AD and expressed the Currie needs to be out.

You and your friends are doing the Lord's work RockytopSC!

Do you not understand what just happened? The boosters did meet with Gruden, in Tamps, to iron out the details of his contract. Gruden wanted total control of the football program and he was led to believe he was getting control.

Haslam and Currie were on board with this because, secretly, those two had another agenda. Everyone was led to believe Gruden was coming.

Gruden didn't want to be announced as our coach until 11/28. This was the perfect opening for Haslam and Currie to formulate their own plan. If Gruden had not put that stipulation in place, there's a good chance all of this stuff happening today could have been avoided. He would have been our next coach. I bet I'm pretty much spot on here. At least I think so.

At this point, unless you can provide proof of this, it's all just silly. I've been Gruden since day 1 and have even passed along little snippets of what I've been told, but I don't believe a single bit of it anymore until Gruden himself comes out and says something

Got got a ESPN tracker advising Jason Whitten won't leave Cowboys to take Tennessee HC job! Seriously, we are now this desperate to take a pro football player as a HC who has never coached a game in his life.

This is now just getting plain downright stupid at this point and a embarrassment in front of the whole country watching!!! SMDH

thats just the jackwagons at ESPeeN being jerks.

correct me if i'm wrong knuck, i don't think we the sheeple can do anything about haslam, can we?

currie, i do.
maybe even davenport if necessary.
haslam? i think that's on the beavers and atlanta vols and ergens of the world to tackle.

am i wrong?

Only thing I can think of is some sort of open letter of different groups stating why they are cancerous to the University and ask them to stop making decisions on behalf of all of us. It could be respectfully worded and well thought out. You would have to get multiple respected people to sign onto it though. I don't know, maybe that wouldn't work. That's my only idea.

Of course. Voice your opinion and have your voice heard. He doesn't work for the University but boosters are putting pressure on the school as well. So making your voice heard helps. No uproar yesterday then Schianao is our coach. Regardless of who made the calls.

I don't really see this as any drama or any statement on his choice. I'm just thinking she wasn't in the same location or she would have signed it. Maybe I'm wrong here. I doubt she cares who the coach is, probably an annoyance to her.

Oh...im pretty damn sure this is bigger than an annoyance to her now.

She's in a sh1tstorm and may not survive.
