Look, I’m beyond proud of VolNation for blowing up social media. But we were just a part of this, and let’s be real. It’s the 73 legislators and boosters who stopped it, not fans. If our opinions mattered to the University, then Schiano would have never been looked at. Money is the only language they understand and money on our side is the only way out of it. We need to appeal to boosters, if we only knew which ones are on our side. I thought Peyton was, but I was wrong.

Thanks for all the “insiders” for giving us all false hope. I told myself after 2012 never again and I finally caved two weeks ago and started to believe. I hope the “insiders” feel good about this total crap show we are in now. Feeding the “Grumors” is part of the problem and not the solution for UT.

Also I hate message board etiquette and will never be back. Terms like “first” or posting nothing but “Gruden to the Hill” force people to scroll through pages of mindless crap to try and find the complete BS “inside info” that we are looking for. I don’t care what golf courses you like, I don’t care about what booze you are drinking. I want to know something relevant.

To all the real Vol fans just hoping for a savior I am with you. To all the insiders filling some void in their lives and needing this to feel relevant I hope you got what you wanted.

Thank you for bringing logic into this. Nobody is trying to "destroy" anything. Some people with a lot of money and a lot of influence just want their wills to be carried out/enforced at this point, which is leading to bad, poorly thought out decisions.

MOU is non binding anyway. Either party can walk away at any time for any or no reason and be free and clear.

Right. We definitely had something to do with this. There is no doubt all the fan outrage....painting the rock the mattress burnings etc had an effect. On Schiano if nothing else.

We had our doubts about Currie...hoping for the best....that maybe there was evil genius at work signing Gruden..but our worst fears were realized. He's just a needle faced, cliche spewing, no nothing dweeb who doesn't have a clue. I don't think he gives two sh!ts about making UT great in anything.
