We don’t even act like we are an SEC program. Mississippi State is gonna start higher than we did in our search. Out the gate we target a guy nobody wanted. Nobody.

God I am so over UT. I honestly don’t think I’m gonna raise my kids to be fans of them.

I hope we’re smart enough to offer him the job. At this point he’s the best we’re going to do and I think he’s a good coach who could be great. Doubt we are smart enough to hire him though.

If not, might as well hire Tee.

Didn't see this discussed, and I can't embed Twitter posts while I'm at work (or see them, for that matter...when y'all post those it would be great if you could give some context).

Doug Gottlieb, being the ass that he usually is, tweeted with regards to the Tee Martin information that he should hire Clint Stoerner as his OC since Clint had so much to do with Tee winning a national championship. Stoerner responded to the tweet, and copied Tee, with this response:

Holler at me @coachtee17 let's do the deal .. I'm drug free, I don't steal sh!t from my teammates in my downtime & #VolNation loves me!!

Ever hear of personal accountability?? It isn’t Volnation’s collective responsibility to protect people from themselves.

They play out the string on every issue/hiring, lie their azzes off to do what they want, cut it off when it gets rocky, let their scapegoats take the fall, then go do it all over again. Seeing that system exposed has been well worth the short term pain.

We won a big battle yesterday, but not the war. I hope the legislators along with the rest of us will keep this going at them hard. It starts with who replaces DiPietro.

Ever hear of group think? Mob mentality? Snake oil salesmen? How about personal responsibility to those you are allied with to bring them honest, accurate information instead of regurgitating lie after lie?

What happened to all that talk about all these high level coaches that were interested in this job? Did they talk to Currie?
