Babyvol on VQ..

"All but 1 recruit (has scheduling conflict) has rescheduled their visit away from this weekend. Cade Mays and Dixon have both scheduled their visit for 1st weekend in December among others. You will know your coach sometime next week....best guess is Tuesday but that’s a guess."

That makes a lot of sense. I would not want recruits coming in this weekend and meeting with coaches who are coaching their last game at Tennessee. Bad vibes. You would want them to meet their new coach. if it's the 1st weekend in Dec., then Gruden is announced after this weekend but before Dec. 2. Another piece of the puzzle falls into place.

1Wouldn''t Miss this for the world.gif

The femail man couldnt just give me the rest of my mail when she dropped off a package?

So Hyams basically says...

• Gruden's not happening.
• Currie and Boosters did not visit Tampa.
• Currie's gonna have his man by next Tuesday (ironically... the same date predicted here two weeks ago.)

Hmm... SOON.

After Monday which would be Gruden’s last night broadcasting MNF football.

I think this date makes a lot of sense.
If he is really our next coach, and really leaving MNF, I wonder if he will at least announce during the game that he is leaving. Some kind of farewell thanks for the great years...

Jimmy Hyams:
"Mullen, Kelly, Frost, Schiano, Mike Norvell and Chad Morris are under consideration by Currie, but I don’t know if any have been interviewed."

In Translation:
Currie doesn't have a coach.
Even though he's in the Bahamas and has plenty of coach's to interview, we should have a coach by Tuesday knowing Currie.

What. A. Crock.

And they will likely meet some of his staff as well. Manning?

Anyone upset or disheartened because of the confusion in timeline of announcement, have no one but themselves to be upset with.

Who did Florida hire?

I’m sure Gruden will.

He’s a classy guy who’s enjoyed his time at MNF.

I have NO idea how this works out. But he will not leave MNF without giving his viewers a "final goodbye." Will he do that this Monday, I have no clue. I also don't find it hard to believe a contract has been signed and it has a future active date and he continue on with MNF for another broadcast. Not sure! I would enjoy opinions on how this plays out....

He is easily my favorite actor but I couldnt get into Taboo after 2 or 3 episodes. Maybe I need to give it another go.

Mine too. Taboo started slow, but it got better. Hardy financed like the whole show out of his own pocket and I heard he lost money on it. I doubt we get a season 2, which is a shame.

He will not make any public announcement without first being introduced by John Currie.

I don’t know how he could be our coach AND on MNF. Seems the NCAA would have an issue with that in some way, ie recruiting advantage

I find myself wishing people would leave the negative twitter feed out of this thread. Why bring it here?

If you're talking about my post, I thought it was interesting that he's changed his tune and even he believes the announcement is next week.

If you weren't talking about my post, then ignore this post. :)
