I was watching that game on the tube and it was awesome. If I see KD out here I need to simply say Lofton.

After reading through the thread from today, I’d like to apologize for asking and hoping for specific answers to Gruden. I have decided to kneel to the pressure to just ride this thing out and hope for the best!

Go Vols and Soon (has to be at this point!)

Sorry - I'm way behind (again) but just had to comment on this!

We used to go to Buddy's BBQ at around 4:30 or 5:00 on Friday's when Knoxville Grass was scheduled to play - we'd sit a long tables with whoever else happened to sit there. The place would be full by 6:00pm and I think Grass started playing at 8:00 or 9:00. Ate BBQ, drank lots of beer, and partied to the music until they threw us out!!! Some absolutely fantastic times there!!!

He never mentioned gruden and neither did anyone in the room. However, his body language and affect was that he hit a homerun.

Rationally, who else other than gruden is a homerun in the list of possibilities you have seen. Essentially no one, unless he some how snaked away Saban, Meyer or someone like that. There is no way he would be this happy, given the fan base expectations and hopes

Id put that up there as one of the best basketball games ever at UT other than when we beat Memphis,because at that time we hadn't had a good basketball ball team in a while and Bruce pearl had us in the top 15 every year it seemed like

If we don't go for it now, then when ? I say with all the coaching changes that are going to happen, and rumored to happen this offseason, if we don't go for the gusto now, then forget it, it ain't ever going to happen, but I don't believe we're going to be that naive again, at least I hope the heck we're not....Grude to the Hill !!!!!!

They are terrified that we are right. They would gladly pass on Gruden, welcome Google McMACCoach with open arms, and doom Vols football to another decade (or more) of mediocrity, than have to admit that we were right.

I don't know, some are like that, but there are a lot of guys who are like me, I want to get Gruden, but I will believe it when I see it. I don't know who is a troll, and who isn't, except for AV and LWS, but I don't like just assuming everybody that brings info is a nasty troll. I prefer to just believe they get bad info sometimes...like 2012. It was real then, and it is real now. It just isn't "done" till that magnificent bastard walks up to the mic. Until then I will maintain a self-protecting healthy scepticism.

And throw in the honorable mention of beating #1 Kansas! I was in the rafters as a student that game.

As for football game, 06 UGA game

Favorite players: Dobbs, Clausen, Berry
