To be fair, Patterson & Petersen would make great fall back options if somehow Gruden turns us down.

However, I think it’s foolish to think Mullen, Norvell, Brohm, somebody like that, would kill it here in Knoxville.

To me, you’re taking a huge chance of being mediocre again if you swoop down to that level.

No way in hell should we be settling for average coaches again.

I can confirm that Gruden has yet to interview for the Tennessee Tech job. He was contacted, but stated that he has other plans nearby.

If I find out that Gruden was never interested and he let this circus go on, I will not be a big fan of his any more. If this is the case, then his ego is much more important than the health of his "favorite" college football team.

I'm sure he will lose many nights of sleep over me not liking him anymore.
