Wallace reported that Haslam allowed Gruden use of his plane to meet with coaches for staff positions.

Beaver though would have one believe there's booster war going on and that the Haslams do not want Gruden anywhere near Tennessee.

So if we’re looking at Gruden, Patterson, or Petersen, then my faith is restored in UTAD temporarily. Bring one of them here and it will be permanently.

If Gruden isn't a possibility, I'd go get Urban and give him the keys. He's been successful everywhere he's been.

I've believed for a while he has other agendas and wants to make it look like a certain faction is to blame if this "sure thing" falls through. I was told everyone was on board for one candidate and any booster disagreement came down after that candidate fell through. As an example, I was told that some boosters wanted nothing to do with Chip Kelly if option 1 went south, because some boosters don't like his demeanor.
