Well the last thread disappeared, but for those who asked. The whole war within the AD between the Haslams and other boosters that Beaver drives at doesn't ring true.

I heard from my limited contact that the boosters were all in line for a big hire. AV indicated this. I believe Boro did as well.

Wallace reported that Haslam allowed Gruden use of his plane to meet with coaches for staff positions.

Beaver though would have one believe there's booster war going on and that the Haslams do not want Gruden anywhere near Tennessee.

Yeah, what happened? Freak?

It's back.

These Gruden threads get absolutely hammered. Around, what appears to be 6500 posts, they start choking the server. I have to remove access to that thread for a minute to let all the queries clear.

Not gonna lie, panicked for a second when I attempted to advance to the next page in the last thread, and I was given the warning, "You're not allowed to access this page."

I swore the hammer hath been laid to ole Squints.

Other than that....

Very minor piece of new info:

Confirmed today that Gary Patterson's agent reached out to us 1 week prior to Butch Jones' firing to express interest in the job. As of last Tuesday he was option B, however I don't know if that broke down and he is still an option.

That's one of the reasons I've stayed largely silent on the subject of the Beav.

Hope he's legit, and doing work behind the scene...but that piece of info doesn't exactly line up.
