Now the hot name is campbell. $1 says we're told he's no longer in consideration in a couple days. Wonder who the next hot name will be? Won't matter that guy will also fall off the board a couple days later.

And then currie will introduce his gruden sometime next week. Until then, i guess we'll keep digging!

You wield power in his position; you limit playing time for no obvious reason (Byrd?), and can damage or scuttle a player's future in the NFL. And I think Butch did some of that kind of stuff. This. Thing about things like this is we typically only hear about a small percentage of things. I just wish it would go away. It doesn't serve anyone for these things to be aired in public. It's not like we didn't have enough reasons to fire Butch.

Wish I could go to some games. The atmosphere just seems incredible, even for a random Monday night game like last night. Watching the home games on tv and then the road games, there is such a big difference in noise level. It's amazing the support Nashville has. It almost seems like a playoff atmosphere every night. I've been a fan since day one, but don't live in the area anymore and haven't been to a game in years.

Oh, and how about Ekholm? He's another one who is just so good. Hats off to David Poile. He's done an incredible job.

If we got Malzahn and Steele, I’d be ecstatic. 8-4 floor, has proven he can get his teams to play with the best, great recruiter.

If Auburn wants to push him out we should make him the Mark Richt to our Miami.

IMO, the beginning of the end was Hurd. That situation was handled so poorly and fractured the team. The strong leaders graduated, chemistry tanked and players started distancing themselves. I'm surprised more players haven't spoken up... but absence speaks volumes.

Yes, please. I haven’t been paying attention to Auburn drama, but they’re crazy if they run him out of town. Almost as crazy as the people here who think Jimbo and Mullen wouldn’t be big enough names for the UT job.

The Helm story just further illustrates the Jones is as bad at managing his recruits as he is football games.

If the Helm thing was isolated, some of you might have a point. When we had the numbers of kids we had leaving the program at the rate they did, that should make you think.

Coaches are there to help and assist kids in football and life. I fail to see how that helped the kid.
