Some players do respond well to that kind of coaching though.

But a coach has to understand who that can work with and who it won’t work with. The sheltered homeschool Christian kid most likely ain’t the one you wanna try that tactic with.

You got to tear some down to build them up. And some are already tore down, and you start by building them up.

Good leaders know how to read and motivate people.

His problem was his W/L record if that was different we wouldn't be talking about any of this and players leave every program regardless if the coach is a d!ck.

I think his win/loss record is a direct result of his locker room antics. He lost the team last year. His supporters on the team were dwindling by the minute. It's sort of a circular thing.
