Watched a Clay Travis video yesterday and he had a perfect answer to those who keep asking why would Gruden leave his great job at ESPN. Know what he said? He said because Gruden wants to become a legend. Thats awesome.

Exile AV's post did not sound like anything has been signed, he even said you can't force someone's hand with money. Not doubting at all what you have said and your continued confidence, but what are we supposed to make of that? He is the most connected person directly to this search on the board.

I would call them and invite them in this weekend.
I would tell them we would like you to be a part of vol, tell them so much so that we are breaking the Grude Zannouncement to them before anyone else. ( sworn secrecy of course).
No recruiting pitch ever could top that.

I was thinking this morning when I got up of all the time I spent in this one thread and a comment that was made by a poster who likes to come in a visit us to stir things up , he said something to the effect of this is just an echo chamber and that’s why we believe so easily that it’s gruden or bust . I’m a logical minded person open to all views and information so to be fair I went to the other threads and read what’s there . We may very well be Batsh!t crazy in here , we may have wild assumptions and jump to conclusions trying to figure out if it’s Gruden or no Gruden but I’ll say this .. there are some folks outside this thread that have lost their collective minds at a mediocrity level of acceptance that I just can’t understand . I tried and failed to listen .. I’ll stay here in my echo chamber from now on until it’s over .

if it's gruden but he wants to wait until after vandy to release... I would call up our recruits, invite them this weekend... tell them we will let them know of our big hire upon their visit... let them be some of the leakers and then officially announce sunday
