I just had an awesome dream. In the dream, I was casually watching TV, waiting on some big national broadcast that everyone watches like the NFL Draft or something. Don’t know which since it was a dream. Right before a big national TV broadcast, Tennessee ran an extended commercial show (about 5 minutes) announcing GRUDEN as our next Head Coach with him talking about his excitement to get started!! It then let each new assistant coach introduce themselves with footage of them coaching.

I was in shock and going crazy! It was a huge media splash where even non-Vols fans thought it was incredible. The perception nationally was “WOW! Tennessee has arrived and they just pulled off one of the sickest coaching announcements in history.”

That sounds like a "Grude" dream!:)

So, are we not worried about Matts comments last night? Didn't he imply that Gruden has or will be turning us down?

It appears to be a slow morning. I suppose that is a sign for me to get some work done today. Before I leave, ponder this:

Tonight on MNF Jon Gruden wears a small but noticeable Power T lapel pin. What do you believe the Tennessee fans' reaction would be and what would be the reaction from the rest of the country?

Assume further we still don't get an official announcement on the head coaching job until after Christmas, with total silence until then.Would we still be as ecstatic about the lapel pin or would we lose faith during the wait?

Let a Grude early Christmas miracle happen today folks. This is going to happen, Soon. Just me hoping. No info here.

Stay positive.

If Tennessee were to Land Gruden, there are a number of highly rated uncommitted 5 and four star players on the books. I’d call Cade mays and Trevor Lawrence and ask themfor another look, and start calling those uncommitted on the top recruiting board. You could build a number one class on the uncommitted of the rivals board easy.
Yes you must recruit for your scheme/needs but right now that’s everywhere.

Just me, but I stop reading any post and stop listening to anyone in real life when the conversation starts with "I had a dream".

Mays and Lawrence are a lock if Gruden is hired IMO

Since my dreams always involve wandering into a classroom, seeing everyone frantically scribbling in blue books (remember those?), and having no idea which course it is (having cut the entire semester), I'm skeptical of descriptions of good ones!

Good morning Grudenites!

I am resolved to get some work done today for a change.
