I get if you see him walking and want to say “Get Gruden!” To let your voice be heard. But yeah don’t walk right behind him screaming in his ear over and over.

Agreed... This is totally embarrassing. I feel for Currie. This is why he can't be with the fans. It's a shame. :ermm:

I'm certain in the overall scheme of things that this doesn't affect the hiring process one iota, but damn, it's embarrassing. And I would imagine that Currie kinda eases back on rubbing elbows with the common man until this thing is settled. Where's his entourage or security detail???

I'm frustrated with this timeline, but I have to respect that the man knows what he's doing. I WILL get bent out of shape (even more so), if Vandy comes and goes with no announcement...but I understand it could be a while. Freak pointed out Butch was hired on Dec. 7th...but the difference then (I think anyway), was that we had already been turned down a couple of times and were kind of reeling. Either way, I still think we are waiting on Gruden, if I hear Mike Norvell's name again, my head is going to pop off an fly around the room!

Yeah, I'm not just here for the giggles.

The main difference in SFD and I, besides her being a woman and I'm a guy...and the 1.4 terabytes worth of files she has on the Gruden search, is she goes on the analysis of data she has in hand and has heard. I look for the hidden nuances and "what if" scenarios along with the human element. She's an engineer by education (if I remember correctly) and would use empirical data to support her conclusions. I am a former cop and investigator by trade and learned to take human emotions and motivations into play along with reading between the lines. Mine isn't an exactly science, but more of a "hmm, didn't think of that angle, let me look at that" path. Not tooting my own horn, but I learned to look at multiple paths and processes at the same time in my head very analytically. But also from the mental side of things. The "this is what I'd do" side of the house.

Sometimes it works, sometimes I have to start back from scratch. Just something to think about and why poor Jimmy might be bumbling about in the dark so much.

Sorry guys. I had a lot to drink and thought it would get Currie to get this done.

Better stay away from the Vol for Life pages on Facebook. They're worse than anything I've read on here. Some really anti-Gruden people there. I got to where I just instantly scroll past the threads at the mention of him. At least until this coach search has ended, SOON I hope.

If Gruden is completely uninterested then it makes absolutely no sense to be so vague and dodge a simple question every time it comes up. Especially with his son attending and prob being hounded day after day. There has to be something to this. Otherwise he would just put an end to all the speculation.

He obviously has an offer and just hasn’t made up his mind yet. Thats pretty clear at this point. Just hope he doesn’t take too long to decide.

speaking of Freak and announcements...shouldn't he be advising the Gruden thread devotees of the location of the 160 foot yacht for when it is officially announced by Mr. Gruden that "SOON" has arrived...so everybody can paaarty..:pepper::dance2:
