I haven't been on here for a couple of days except for lurking every now and then when I have the chance.

I did speak to my friend and he stated that he has definitely heard that some conversations have taken place between UT and Gruden. He also heard that 2 NFL coaches, wasn't sure if it was a head coach or coordinators, had been contacted as well (maybe Kacy Rodgers is one). He also knew that Chip K and UF have had discussions as well.

Again he is not at UT, but at another power 5 school, but would definitely know and hear things because of the position he has, that is all I have for insider info.

Maybe Doug Merrone at Jacksonville?

Man, I'm with you. That's the only reason that I'm being such a stickler about this. It's damn near impossible to separate the legitimate info from the noise. I watched the question live and after seeing what the original messenger posted, I didn't want people to hang any real hopes on that tidbit. Party on, Wayne!

I'm certainly for a staff with some orange blood if they are regarded as really good coaches on their own merit... But, some of these have me scratching my head. Randy Sanders? Dale Jones? Are other schools beating down the doors trying to hire these guys?

Of course, what ever his majesty wants.. Still..

Dale has been pursued by many programs and has a great resume. Randy has several rings and is well respected in the coaching world. The thread for the three of them is the 86 sugar bowl.

Any vets on here or parents with young children who maybe don’t get a chance to go to UT games who would like to go to the LSU game this weekend? I would like to treat some folks if there is anyone out there that would meet that criteria.

No questions on Gruden front please. Sorry have not been around but things have been moving at a frantic pace and the process must be respected....and I have a duty to AD to uphold that at this point....

If u have extras after giving them out I'm in need of 2 for my son and nephew.
Edit I can buy a few before hand so I don't want if someone else needs them

No doubt. It is frustrating having to read through all the B.S. and determine was was said and how it was relayed. I'm still hoping this happens, I'm just not very convinced atm
