I wasn't in favor of a coaching change prior to the end of the season until yesterday evening.

Now it's a matter of staunching the blood flow. It's a matter of avoiding our first-ever 8-loss season.

Interim coaches are no picnic, certainly no recipe for success, but we will absolutely not win a 5th game this year without something changing.

So I'm on board for regime change. Now. It's a crap shoot, but it's better than no shot.

And, as always, hoping Jon Gruden is the (eventual) light at the end of the dark 2017 tunnel.

Alright everybody, I don't think many people think I am a troll. I do appreciate everyone sticking up for me though. I think there are some people on here frustrated at the pace, as an I. However, our frustration won't change a thing.

Lady Vols have a home game this afternoon at 2. Currie will be there. I can't imagine he would do anything on campus before to take attention away from that game. After the game is different situation.....

Idk if that's true, what if the reason there are no leaks is because Currie isn't doing anything, no firings, no hirings, just nothing.

I mean we've got the same amount of evidence that nothing is being done compared to the butch was fired weeks ago theory.

I'm tired of messing around if Gruden decides against it. I love the fact he considers Tennessee a great school and whatnot, but in my irritability factor this morning, I'd dump a tanker truck's worth of gasoline on that bridge and strike a match. I'd make sure everyone knew he was the one that was unreasonable in the discussions.

Call it a petty, scorned ex-girlfriend posting your information on a VD alert site type of move, but I'd damn sure make everyone know we bent over backwards to accommodate the hire.

This could be because I'm tired, cranky and downright angry over what happened last night. But that's how I feel.

UT needs a real football coach, not publicly stunt like hiring Jon Gruden. As much as I want him here to coach, I want a real coach that is willing to burn the midnight oil to win the SEC. Fulmer had that fire and passion until he won the BCS Title in 1998 after that he didn't and it showed on the field. If Gruden does turn UT down, it will certainly hurt this fandom but it may be for the best if they hire the right guy.

You better have a replacement to announce if you are going to announce CBJ's firing. If not, you will likely lose the recruits.

Maybe he can fire Holly while he’s at it. We used to be able to count on football and the Lady Vols.

No we won't lol Florida hasn't announced a replacement and so far they've only lost one, we have kept Jones and have lost three? Including the top recruit in our class

I know... there is so much emotion in here today it is difficult to maneuver through it.... I have tried to back away, starting with yesterday and review what was said, what I heard and what I understand....

I am solid here...

1. I am in that group that says "I want Jon Gruden"
2. I am not sure that Gruden wants Tennessee
3. I believe there has been some talks with Gruden
4. I cannot confirm Gruden from my source
5. I am sure there are some people trolling the crap out of this board
6. I think Currie is determined to prove he is in charge no matter the cost to Tennessee football
7. I will try to keep my opinions to myself and stop posting after today


PS/ I reserve the right to change my opinions as I receive more information and more or new things come to light
